The Real Reason Bryce Being the Pick Scares Me - He'll be the Marvin Lewis of QB's

I would because upside in a QB is about more than athletic ability.

True, but he's been impressive on the whiteboard too and most folk that can see are watching him go through his reads properly.

Id also have to give AR the benefit of the doubt because of turnover in coaching and Florida Gators not being the "Gators" of the nineties. They don't get the best of the best anymore like Alabama and Ohio State so with his elite traits, elite arm, high S2 score AND size AND athletic ability, YES, he has the most upside of this draft.

The question has always been, even with Cam, do you have the right coaches to develop him? This time, Yes.

Also that's what all the Youngsters say. This is the most viscous contact sport in perhaps the whole world, we can't overlook size and stature  in favor of a fantasy.

We can overlook it in favor of a greater skill set.

In fact, we should.

Greater skill set IS a genuine dual threat.

The noodle can help you think but legs and muscles keep you safe or help you stiff arm dominate and keep running with the rock instead of getting crushed by a mountain.

He's much too small, THAT'S the part that's annoying, everybody sees it and knows it.

Everyone acknowledges that he is small. But many feel it is not a huge deal. That where opinions differ. And you can chose to accept that other people have a different opinion or pretend like everyone has to agree with yours.

If BY constantly gets injured like the OP says, it will wear him down tremendously and he won't get back to where he was. Look at Cam Newton for an example of that. It wasn't one injury that derailed his career (Watt hit was the straw that broke the camels back), it was seasons and seasons worth of wear and tear and before you know it, he goes from MVP to not being able to throw the football 15 yards anymore and off of the team.

Another bot take. Cam was used as a friggin battering Ram for years. I don't foresee that in Bryce's future thankfully

He's a disadvantage no matter how many mental advantages y'all come up with. It's all hype. Not even better than his predecessor Tua statistically or stylistically.

Nothing special about his body, just his noodle, ok arm, "gets it" and moxy. That doesn't make a NFL player.

Ignore the physical part to his/your peril. Why are all the other guys more physically strong, ready for the NFL? You really want underdog to win but even Kyler can't stay on the field and he's of a thicker build.

You going to spend the #1 pick and wait for a guy to "grow up" "put on weight" to play and actually try to stay on the field?

ain't nobody got time for that GIF

It's going to be hard for 185lbs to stop 300lbs that's not an "opinion".
