I don’t wanna hear anyone complain about Tepper ever again

There's levels to this...

I feel like Tepp gave away our draft strategy last night when he was yapping about targeting defense because we have Bryce. We're not out of the woods yet.

What an idiotic comp. Montana was 31 years old and had missed 8 games the prior season when they traded for Young. I very seriously doubt any team has ever drafted QBs in the 1st and 2nd round of the very same draft. Irsay must be huffing glue.

What rounds did Washington draft RG3 and Kirk Cousins in? I know they were drafted same draft but i can't remember when they were both drafted. That's the closest I can remember.

Closest I can think of was Washington with RG3 in the 1st and Cousins in the 4th. Would definitely be interesting to see Indy go this route.

Montana was over 5 years older than Young--he was past his prime--young was entering his.  So similar.  Irsay is a coke-fried, spoiled, jerk, and were it not for his father's $$, he would be living under an overpass smelling like Thunderbird and urine.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • This is why we need the Bank of America Stadium Ballroom.
    • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
