Post draft... what positions do you think we are weakest at?

My biggest concern heading into this year is the LB group, we're just thin there and even when healthy it doesn't appear to be a very good unit overall.

My second concern is TE. Hurst is good but he has injury baggage and behind him is still the woeful Ian Thomas

Defense.. particularly pass rusher and LB really need another DB as well I think they are setting the new DC up to fail personally...

Pretty harsh take there. Most believe our defense is a top 10 defense.  We put a good offense on the field our defensive numbers are going to improve.  Hopefully, 3 and out doesn't happen too often and our defense will stay straight.

I do think LB can be upgraded and probably will after Evero gets a chance to see our guys perform in OTAs and minicamps.  Our scheme is changing so it is very hard to say what our front seven is going to look like.

After Hurst TE is a bit thin.  I am hoping now that Fhule is gone Tremble will get more action and prove his value.

Defense in my opinion was pretty overrated last year.. now a new scheme change and no new additions?? I don't see it going well for us at all

Our defense is not top 10. I wish it was, but we don’t have the pieces quite yet. Need LB, CB, and another good DE.

Eviro scheme and 3-4 in general rely on the ends to free up the OLB to get after the qb. Got solid set of 3-4 style DE's that can do that.

CB is definitely a ? mark because of health.

Olb must be what your talking about at LB and they drafted one and have a bunch of young guys that fit the new scheme really well.

Are people forgetting the switch to 3-4??

Tons of post in here that make me think so.

    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
