DHop to Titans...

Lol.

It was all about the Benjamins, per usual. Which is fine. It is business for them after all. But don't go whining and crying about the QBs you've played with talking about wanting to play with an elite QB and then sign up to play with the Titans.

Good, dude seems like a distraction anywhere he goes.  Better the Titans locker room than ours.  Next one to dodge is Clowney.  After that, if we need to sign another FA (for a reasonable price) I'm good with it.

Someone gets it!

Been saying this for years. It's amazing how these HC's get so much credit when it's clearly because of the QB.

Andy Reid is the best HC in football now because he has Mahomes. Can someone explain to me why Andy Reid wasn't getting this same hype in Philly?

NFL is a players league. Head coaches matter, but they don't make your franchise if they don't have a legit QB.

Andy Reid made 4 nfc championship games and one superbowl you troll.  He has always been considered one of the best current coaches?

Belicheck overrated HC. Got lucky with Brady. His draft classes are just as bad if not worse than the panthers if you take out the extremely lucky TB12 6th rounder.

His drafting is terrible but made up for with shrewd bargain free agent signings and trades that have fit his systems. Having Brady on a cheap deal later in his career was big but the first 3 Super Bowls he could've won with a dozen other game managers at QB.

He is a first ballot HOF coach and his Super Bowl wins are second to none. All I’m saying is I don’t know how many super bowls he wins if Brady isn’t there.

Has Hopkins signing with Tennessee been discussed? Sorry not reading the fight pages.

Seems like Tennessee is where old WRs go to retire. Julio first and now Hopkins. Seems like maybe they should have just stuck with AJ Brown. They haven’t really had a lot of success lately in GM department.

There’s a lot of guys who are surprisingly still available. Many of them are big names but most seem like they still have something in the tank. Will be interesting to see if some take low ball offers or just say call me when guys get hurt.

These narratives are so silly, especially in the case of Belichick. You do not have that amount of success off the back of one player without a good coach.

Belicheck’s resume and accolades speak for themselves. So do the numerous allegations of cheating and bending the rules. I think Belicheck is really good at defensive playcalling and managing a team with established superstars. Kinda like Phil Jackson (even tho he was an offensive coach).

@mrcompletely11 and @CamWhoaaCam

Y'all need to quit carrying this stupid pissing match into every fugging thread.

Seriously stop it or I'll give you both the boot and I won't think twice about it.

I don't care who the bigger asshat is, you both keep it going and you both need to stop. I'm getting reports from other posters about it so it's not just me that is overly annoyed at you two.

The next time I see it from either one of you, you're gone.

I heard they fired the GM over the aj brown deal. Varbel was PISSSSSSSSED OFF that the gm didnt want to pay brown and then when nuked after he traded him (plus the return was awful). Owner got wind of allll this and choose a new GM....

It's both. Yes Brady won another without Bill but frankly he went to an absolutely stacked team that went all in in the short term for him and also had a very good coach in Arians. Brady may have never even developed into a franchise QB without Belichick.

    • We've literally seen him hop around the pocket to survey the field in multiple occurrences. Defenses have this on tape. Cam and QB's like him built the way he was height and strength wise could get by on those natural gifts in their prime. Bryce Young is unequivocally going to have to go above and beyond with his footwork in order to carve out not just a long career but an elite career worthy of a top overall draft selection. We should be able to wholeheartedly agree with one another on that. Intermediate sideline throws without placing the ball out of bounds where the receiver has to contort themselves or make an absurd acrobatic catch for it to be a completion. And yes developing a better chemistry in the deep passing game with his receivers to avoid miscues. Both areas will need to see improvement if the young offense is to develop the way we hope in 2025. And we don't necessarily need to be winning mind you. But development of the supporting cast requires this from Bryce. We have invested a ton of capital in the offensive line. We've invested heavily in WR. We've invested in our backfield. We've invested in TE. We've got a young up and coming offensive minded head coach. The expectation should be for our redzone efficiency to improve significantly. That is not just on Bryce Young. But at the end of the day it will always begin and end with him more often than not. It's always been that way and that's just the nature of the position in this league. And not for nothing but before we drafted Bryce Young nobody was going around here saying we need elite play across the board and top shelf coaching for him to be effective. His biggest selling point was his ability to succeed off script and make something out of nothing. We're certainly going to have to see that come to fruition. Now we wait.
    • I said years ago that RBA was another Rivera.
    • Honestly, for me, I actually don't care all that much about being the 1st overall pick and him living up to that selection. It's the trade we made to go get him that he has to live up to for me.   You can't be even just an average starting QB after a trade like that, because if that's all we're getting out of it, we could have kept going with journeyman type of QB's or taken a shot on a Jalen Milroe type in the 2nd to get similar play but then have kept Moore and all those other draft picks to build around them.
