6,000 passing yards, 99% completion (Ian Thomas drops one), a solid 50 TDs.

or

3800ish passing yards.  20 TDs, 11 INTs, 64% completion, 1 rushing TD, 200 yards on the ground.

Do I get to choose?

This is good.  Only thing I would add is that there will be 2-3 batted balls causing melt down overreactions from some folks.

First time a ball is batted down, the huddle…

lol I can’t wait.

Interestingly, I also just asked the chat AI and it reluctantly gave me a prediction with low confidence.  apparently it's even more optimistic than I am.  Here's the exact response:

As an AI language model, I can provide you with a speculative estimate of Bryce Young's future stats, but please keep in mind that these predictions are based purely on statistical trends and do not account for factors such as injuries, team performance, or changes in coaching staff or scheme. Additionally, I cannot guarantee the accuracy of these predictions as they are based on limited information and assumptions.

Assuming that Bryce Young continues to develop as a quarterback and stays healthy, here's a speculative estimate of his future stats:

  • Passing yards: 4,000 - 4,500
  • Completion percentage: 65% - 70%
  • Touchdowns: 30 - 35
  • Interceptions: 5 - 10
  • Rushing yards: 300 - 500
  • Rushing touchdowns: 3 - 6

Again, please keep in mind that these are purely speculative estimates based on limited information and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Also predict that Panthers will win between 8-10 games, sounds about right.

Which chat do you use, the one i was using flat out won't do predictions.

OpenAI

I had to convince it several times in the conversation after it said it won’t do predictions. Like a human it caved lol

I predict that he will be scrutinized, criticized and marginalized by most of the fans. I expect that he will be vilified, crucified or glorified by the fans no matter what he does. So business as usual. Personally, I think he will eventually be the best qb we've had since Newton. It may not show at first but it's there and will show itself as the season plays out.

    • It is entirely possible to defend your point without calling a bunch of people "tards".  Bryce Young sucks.  The vast majority of football fans acknowledge and accept this, especially on this site despite the very few who may argue otherwise, and even then, I find it is more in a "cut him some slack" kind of way and not a "he's the future of the team" kind of way. At the end of the day, if you look hard enough on the Internet, you are always going to find takes that drastically differ from what you perceive to be the truth.   And nobody who's football opinion is worth listening to has argued Bryce Young is the MVP.  Again, that is an example of you looking way too hard on Twitter, assuming that is something you have actually even read.
    • Bryce's Career To Date passing yards by games. Includes two games he did not start but played. 2023(179.8/GM) Less Than 100: 1 101-150: 4 151-200: 6 201-250: 4 251+: 1 2024(171.6/GM) Less Than 100: 3 101-150: 1 151-200: 3 201-250: 3 251+: 3 2025(173.8/GM) Less Than 100: 0 101-150: 4 151-200: 3 201-250: 0 251+: 1 Percentage of Games Less Than 100: 10.5% 101-150: 23.7% 151-200: 31.6% 201-250: 18.4% 251+: 13.2%     So, in 2/3 of his career games played he is under 201 yards passing.
    • It works very well it’s just frustrating because it can win enough games to keep those three coaches employed even when they don’t innovate or ever make a decision that doesn’t come from a chart. If they weren’t so robotic in their decision making they’d be in the top tier of NFL coaches.
