Lol whatever. Y'all are bordering on spamming. You can't talk about anything but his size. It's like that's ALL you see and that's ALL you talk about.

You're entitled to that incrediblly narrow-minded opinion that's keeping you from enjoying this....and that fine, but what the hell do you hope to accomplish by bringing it up non-stop? To get everyone else as worried about that poo as you are?

Ahhh fug it...you do you.

I only mentioned it once in this thread and tried to so it respectfully and it got trashed immediately 🤣  I just feel like there's no middle ground seemingly you're either a zealous hater or a crazy fan boy with no tolerance for anything that doesn't confirm success

I think in reality I'm just nervous I guess. I probably need to find some other poo to do until th3 season starts and wait until he proves or doesn't prove it on the field.

I'm not claiming he's going to suck but some people won't even acknowledge the possibility that he'll fail and you get stoned for mentioning it, that's the part I hate about Fandom. I guess you just need to keep your mouth shut if you go against the majority thinking.

One positive note about his size....might be tough for the opposing D to keep track of him....he can get lost behind the big Oline dudes.

Tbh I won't even care about it if he balls and stays healthy . The off-season is so long though it's hard to just railroad your brain into thinking it'll work when you never believed it through the whole draft process. Just have to wait I guess

The weird thing is I can't even remember how I felt about cam around this time in 2011. I'd literally have to dig up my super old post history (joined in 2010) to see if I was excited or not.

I do remember watching auburn highlights and getting amped though

Man, saw him throwing on the news and I don’t know how you can’t be elated right now.  Him saying he had a good day but it’s about stacking them is awesome.  Lets keep the positive momentum for this guy cuz he is the real deal.

What else have you talked about in regards to Young? There's a few in here that will only ever talk about it. My comments were towards everyone who is so myopically fixated on his size and whose only or their main contribution to any discussion is "he's so little abd I'm afraid he's going to get hurt!" It's way past old. We get it. You're scared.Either buckle up and enjoy the ride or get off the bus.

It goes back to what i been saying, if your opinion is different from the masses then you get trashed. You dont even have to be disrespectful, there is nothing to trash about what you said you just voiced a concern that has been repeated no different than the constant overhype rhetoric that is said on here everyday way before the season even starts. If you can be excited on here than you should be able to voice concerns as well and discuss them without people getting upset...people just pick and choose how they like to interpret your comments and force that on you.

At this point I just have to trust the coaches and the FO.  We have the best coaching staff this team has ever had and it includes 2 ppl who played the position for a long time. Their evaluation process was thorough and deliberate.  if Bryce is their guy that is good enough for me and I am ready to move forward.  I also hope he (Bryce) and the Panthers shock the NFL this year.

Just be happy. 😁

Until he actually plays a game, what is one to do? He looks tiny. That's an objective fact none of you can refute.

He looks tiny because that's all you choose to see. That's what you are fuggin fixated on and you don't have to bring it up every damn time. On the field he looks just like everyone else....a football player.

But yeah... That's all you see. A little man. So please tell us a million more times.

Funny enough I didn’t think he looked that tiny, I was positively surprised. But I’m more glass half full.

If someone is still fixated on the pre-draft talking points about Young to the point they can't even get through rookie mini camp I don't really even see the point to bother tuning into any of this at all. Nobody is saying be a drooling homer but if you give off the vibe you are just keeping score waiting for a reason to say I told you so you're no different than the Cam doubters shortly after we drafted him.

Cheers to this my dude.

I’m not getting involved in this argument but thought it was funny you called one of the most subjective things one can imagine, objective

    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
    • I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
