Corral deserves a fair shot

Anyone rooting for a guy on our roster to fail should be ignored.

Saying he has a low chance of success is fine and realistic.

Actively shitting on the guy, hoping he is cut…mouth breather thinking.

The better he is, the better our team is. We have insurance if Young goes down and/or we have a guy to trade for assets if he succeeds.

No one is wishing that you groupie.

BY was drafted #1 overall

poo all you want

BY is the franchise

Corall talk is for the groupies

If he is on the Panthers, I hope he gets every chance to develop. You never know what is gonna happen in a NFL season …… more good players and players that know your system is always a good thing.

I hope the Panthers get another camp arm, but let Bryce and Matt develop. Hopefully they both develop enough, so the Panthers can dump Dalton sooner than later

Honestly, I hope any and all QB’s on the Panthers develop. You can trade better players more than terrible players.

and it doesn’t matter where you are drafted … just develop …. Brady wasn’t the number 1 pick

You only play that card when people don’t agree with you

how dare you walk on this earth and expect everyone to agree with you

Stop being so arrogant

There’s barely enough time to get BY ready as it is. Splitting reps with corral would be the dumbest thing ever.

Dalton won't need that many Reps.  Bryce will be working with the first team, while Corral will get some work with the second team.  As far as the preseason games, Bryce will get some work, but so will the other guys, just like any other preseason.

Why is it that when some on here hope that Corral has success in this league that we are consider Corral lovers?

Lets be real here for a minute:

I was one of the few supporters of Corral on this forum but mainly because a bunch of you believe he is a bust after, what? Two preseason games? It really isn't enough to actually label him a bust and in fact, I am fairly certain that Fitterer even said he was a project QB.

That said, I will support which ever QB has the most success with this team and if anything, I hope Corral develops into a decent back-up for the future behind Young because I do not foresee Dalton being the long term solution to our back-up QB position.

We will see though. I just hope they do give Corral some time with the 2nd string at least during pre-season.

    • Also, the fact we are comparing this one to the 10 preseason tells me we are in for another horrible year.
    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
