I think Carr will be better than Young for a couple of years at the very least unless we’re about to shatter some crazy rookie qb/first year head coach records and defy history. I personally don’t think we anre that special one out of thousands of teams in history. Appears some here think we are that special. Gives me a Tepper/Rhule vibe.

Siants for me are the easy pick. Falcons will be playing old school and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are going to be competing with the Panthers for the #2 spot and then perhaps even beyond especially with that healthy cap once they find a QB, even an average vet.

Bucs have catching up to do.

Saints for now. Falcons or Panthers are the future depending.

Being "special" is not a requirement to win the NFCS (last year & this year).

Honestly, Baker might bounce back. Darnold might bounce back.

I put ZERO stock in what I saw from players the last few years under Rhule. He was that bad.

Each of these quarterbacks also failed at Cleveland and New York respectively.  Third time's the charm though right?

Haven't made the playoffs since 2017. We gotta go earn it.

McCoy is just a lifer in Tampa, so we know he doesn't really mean that.

Carr is QB1 in division out of the gate with a good D.

ATL had a nice offseason, just don't believe in Ridder.

We'll find out starting ATL and I can't wait.

So we care about history with rookies but not with washed up retreads?

Yes. Believe it or not this isn’t Madden. Even the all time greats needed time, around a couple years, to become good then great.  Young is no exception. And expecting him to be better than a vet who made the pro bowl just last year is borderline moronic and frankly is a casual fan take.

People need to relax and realize this. Prepare to see a bunch of ‘start dalton1!’, Fire Fit and Reich!!, ‘shoulda kept Wilks!!!’ dumbassery from those who don’t understand this.

Carr’s last ‘washed up’ five years. Can we please be realistic and not embarrassing homers and say he may need a bit of learning to get this this level or above?:

Haven't seen a post of his since draft night. Did he go into hiding?

We were hoping he'd stay inside the rails until at least the draft but the guy was riding too close and then a couple days before the draft he jumped it and it was just too far to let him come back.

Of course he started a YouTube channel where he calls a few of us out in the intro that lasts about as half as long as his ramblings. Lots of "ummm....yeah....you know" in between moments where he's trying to be sly saying something but you can never really figure out what he's getting at.

He was very clearly nuts. That much was obvious.

Some of the greats needed time but they didn't bounce around from one team to another like Darnold and Mayfield.

As far as Carr is concerned, an 86.3 passer rating in today's NFL is like a 66.3 from 20 years ago.  It's bad.
