They know a lot about the panthers but also Evero and Reich. Surprised to learn that Reich loves running it up the middle and we were top 10 for running it up the middle so I would be surprised to see our run game take a step back which was my main concern moving off of Steve Wilks.

Johnathan Taylor had 1800 yards and 18 TDs on 332 attempts in Reich's offense just 2 seasons ago....

I dont think Wilks has ever produced a running game close to that level.

Which is crazy that the season totals for Miles Sanders in Vegas are all extremely low.

Every talking head has the same dumb opinion on our division. They’ve never seen a panthers team with youth, pedigree, and versatility amongst the all coaching ranks. Mild amount of jock riding over master mid Derek Carr. 28-30th best qb in the nfl Ridder is also a factor as well… I am , have been, and will be high on THIS team and it’s gonna be sweeter than we could’ve imagined.

It is interesting to read and see different takes on the Panthers this year. Some have us as contenders while others say pretenders and over rated.  I am on the contender side. We went 6-6 under Wilks and this staff is an upgrade. With a real quarterback and  legitimate offensive scheme I just don't see us less than .500 barring major injuries. With some luck we could register our first winning season  since 2017. I don't think that is unrealistic.

I feel like basically the division is wide open for the taking so we can make the playoffs but it's not the kinda set up where you want to take any of our players in fantasy early. Jets joint practice and preseason week 2 will probably be the biggest telling points of how we'll actually look

With the shift in the market, Sanders deal is the largest given to a free agent RB this off-season.  We needed help but the contract may ultimately cause some regret.  Still hopeful personally

      Major Concerns with this team…with numbers

      The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market.  On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size.   TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?

      I don’t  think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!

      in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft .  this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint  ...just saying
