Okung was a good player for us in the 10 games he played. Turner was a good player for us as well. This league will eat you up and spit you out in no time.

He played 7 games. He also got hurt in two of those games playing closer to half games rather than full games, scoring basically for $13.5M we got 6 full games. We were 5-11, he was OK and he never played again after us.

We should have just been going hard after Lawrence and traded Turner for any pick, like we finally decided this year to stop ducking around at QB.

Ate himself out of the league.

I’m shocked how many fat lazy players we had in that era. You’d think we had a GM who was just obsessed with size and ignored everything else. At least Trai and Short were motivated enough to get to their first big payday before giving up unlike some others. Or maybe that’s a bad thing. I’m not sure.

Their OL last year was like some of our past OLs. Usually saying a guy was a starter is a good thing, but when the unit is an utter dumpster fire it's an indictment.

Even if we're only looking at him as a backup (compared to our current depth)?

    • I think the difference is that this year we are basing our hype over players and not the coaching staff.  Especially under Reich.  The star-studded coaching staff was going to put us back on top.   This year the offense improves with the addition of TMAC and keeping all our O-line assets on the roster plus we added depth at RB and TE.   Evero was retained because, IMO, he didn't have any talent to work with outside of a couple of players. This year almost every position was address and IMO better depth. There are a few question marks but the improvement of the D-line may help cover some flaws in the backend.  I am more excited about this season, talent wise, than I have been in several years.
    • A few autographs i have.  Stephen Davis Jonathan Stewart     Chuba Belongs.   (1 B, 2 B's,  who honestly gives a fug).
    • I don't think he faked any injuries. He is juat injury prone due to overtraining and general makeup. There is no conspiracy here.
