I had stopped going to Jersey Mike’s because every time I went in, they were out of bread. But lately they’ve been doing really good and I like their tuna. We have a Which Wich nearby and that’s pretty good except they always seem to heat it when I want it cold and give it cold when I want it hot. Subway makes me gag.

For my family - Jersey Mikes.  Ours nearby is really good and my wife likes the GF bread.  I like Jimmy Johns, but they suck at the GF stuff for the wife.  Last one I had on a work day was meh, but we used to love JJs.

Honestly, it really depends on who works at the shop.  Our JM has great folks who do a good job.  The JM near my work sucks ass because people are lazy and don't care.  The Wich Witch at CCM is pretty meh as well.  OK, but I don't need to go back.

As far as the make your own: still spending your time and money.  I'm fine paying for convivence.

My reason for choosing Jersey Mikes is their MONTH OF GIVING.  Pick your state,,  see the charities Jersey Mike is giving to.   https://www.jerseymikes.com/mog/charities   .

When you see  N C ,  you'll see one of the larger, or largest is the over $417,000 given to UNC Health Fitch Family Comprehensive Pediatric Rehabilitation  Program .  Jersey Mike has given over 1 million  dollars to this program.   North Carolina didn't have a pediatric rehab facility  when my grandson was hit by a car 2 years ago. He had to be transported to the Children Hospital of Atlanta for 9 weeks to help him recover from a traumatic brain injury when hit by an automobile in Chapel Hill NC .  So I thank all the patrons of Jersey Mikes .  On one day of the month, over 2500 Jersey Mikes give 100% to their charities.

The good news is,, while my grandson is still dealing with some things others don't have to deal with in life, he is recovering and made his Little League All Star team, who won the N C Little League title this year in Franklin NC .  We have all just returned from the Southeast Regionals in Warner Robins Georgia where the teams journey ended in the double elimination tournament. It's a great ride for these 12 year old's.

Thanks Jersey Mike's for all the Charities you contribute to. Yes I eat there also.

Picture below is my grandson at bat Friday against SC little League.

I would guess it comes from the same place the sub sandwich shops get theirs. Might be warehoused differently at some locations.

its mostly just the preservatives we allow in our stuff to keep it on the shelf as long as possible the difference in America vs Europe is crazy in that regard.

Was shocked at the difference when I was over there

    • Who is "they"?  Who in the media still argues that Bryce Young could reach the levels that people thought he would before the draft? I mean, nobody is going to come outright and bash the kid.  By all accounts he's a good dude and I think that is why you don't see the media come after him like they did Zach Wilson.
    • It started during the Denver game after that first drive. i don’t think the panthers got a first down again until the fourth quarter.
    • The Panthers will finish with at least 7-8 wins.  So that leaves them with only two "smart" choices in my opinion: 1. Sign a reasonably priced free agent QB and see if they are better than Bryce Young in training camp - The issue is there will be very little options.  There is almost no way the Colts let Daniel Jones walk.  Rodgers, Flacco, and Wilson will likely retire (and is Wilson better than Bryce anyway?).  Winston is under contract with the Giants for another year.  That leaves Mariota, which I'm all for, but the Commanders will make a big push to keep him given Daniels' injury history.  Outside of him, there is literally nobody else. 2. Stick with Bryce Young for one more year - Nobody wants this to happen, but the Panthers won't be in a position to draft one in the first round and it isn't a strong class to begin with.  Mendoza, Simpson (and do we really want an Alabama QB?), and Moore will likely all be off the board by the time we pick.  Bryce isn't good, but we are still 5-4.  I'd rather continue to build the rest of the team than reach for a QB.  Then we could set ourselves up nicely in 2027 to make a splash play if we choose.  This is how we should have approached years past; stuck with Kyle Allen or Sam Darnold or Teddy Bridgewater and kept building the team until we were ready to make a splash.  But every year we panicked and did something stupid. There is the idea you could throw a dart at a guy in the later arounds, but IMO this just isn't a good QB class and odds are it will be a wasted pick.  I still think we need a lot of depth on the defense.  I'd rather focus there.
