For a “new era” of football, this was disappointing.  We lost every single one on one battle. We lost both lines of scrimmage.  We lost gap control.  We got gashed in the middle of the field.  We ran zero creative route concepts.  We couldn’t open running lanes.  Etc.

im very concerned, at least until Friday night.

Lol love the choice options.
It will take a minute with this new staff plus many new faces to get everyone in sync. Let’s let our staff do their thing and see how much smoother we look in week 3/4 of preseason whichever we use for the dressed rehearsal. Honestly there will be some growing pains early in the season as well IMO.

Concerned and worried is the same damn thing

I thought the same thing too until I looked it up lol. Here's the best thing I saw about how they're different...

"Being concerned is an adaptive and constructive way of thinking that really prepares you for life's challenges. Being worried, on the other hand, is a circular, destructive kind of thinking that leads to a life of stress, anxiety, or panic."

If I HAD to choose betweem the two I'd pick concerned, but I voted neither. If anyone is worried over a meaningless first preseason game with so many new and missing pieces (players/coaches/schemes/etc.) then they have a problem lol!

    • Someone is clearly trying to get him fired and under the timeless principle that crazy women will always betray each other I’m gonna make a prediction….
    • I liked him more last offseason. I'd like to see the churn with our cornerback room and see what comes out the other side. Lots of youth and potential, we just need one or two to hit.  I don't want CSW to move to FS and think he's a solid enough NB as long as he's not depended on for 40 snaps a game. Thornton, Will Lee and Evans should net us at least one boundary corner and at least one dime guy if we deploy that.
    • The Canes are hoping to have Nikishin back on the ice tonight.  Will be a game-time decision. Hurricane's.com Projected Lineup for Tonight: Forwards Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Hall - Stankoven - Blake Ehlers - Staal - Martinook Carrier - Jankowski - Robinson Defense Slavin - Chatfield Miller - Walker Nikishin/Reilly - Gostisbehere Starting Goaltender Andersen --- Injuries N/A Scratches Nicolas Deslauriers Pyotr Kochetkov Jesperi Kotkaniemi --- PP1: Aho, Ehlers (Staal), Jarvis, and Svechnikov with Gostisbehere PP2: Blake, Hall, Jankowski, and Stankoven with Nikishin/Miller
