Hey guys, it's 2011 not 2015.

I mean, it is a rebuild.  Nothing wrong with that.  Excited about this one. It just sucks we wasted years with Rhule having us in no man’s land.

Maybe they can get it off the ground and rolling quick.  But I’m going to be patient with it.

I respect your opinion but we just have different expectations which is fine.

I expect to miss them this year contend next year and def in year 3

I expect us to be really close if we don't make it. If Young can give us a Bridgewater level season this year, which he should exceed, we are a playoff team. Lets not overreact to one preseason game. Our roster is better across the board this year in almost every position group and we were one game from the playoffs. The only spot where its debatable is WR but we have the age of debate of is it better to have a true 1 and then some 3s and 4s or is it better to have 2 2's, a 3 and a 4? Some would argue having Chark and Theilen is better than having Moore. But we added a pass catching back and a pass catching tight end that we were missing so maybe that evens out.

Prior to that Bridgewater caliber performance….he played in 44 games, made a pro bowl, made the postseason, played with a GOAT, etc.

I don’t think that’s fair to Bryce to think at a minimum he should be Teddy out of the gate.

I'm not discounting the possibility of making the playoffs this season, but using that as a standard or expectation in the first year of a coach--really a team, is unfair in my opinion.

Yeah but remember the threshold for making the playoffs is lower now. More teams are in.

Teddy never deserves a pro bowl, honestly. How many 15 passing touchdown seasons has he had? I am asking for 15-20 TDs. Not a world beater.

Teddy put up those numbers with Rhule as his coach never practicing red zone offense and a terrible OL. It’s not unreasonable to expect similar from Young. 69% (which seems high) 3800 yards 15 TDs and 11 INTs is what he put up. If Young does that it’s not some crazy record breaking rookie season.

Sorry but gonna have to strongly disagree here. We’re coming off a 7 win season not a 2 win season, and our 2 biggest weaknesses we’re coaching and QB both of which we upgraded significantly. In this division I think anything short of a playoff appearance is a disappointment.

And it is an odd year season.

He did.  But Teddy was also experienced.  Again, 40+ games, playoff experience, pro bowl, played under a GOAT.

I would think expecting him to be at Teddy’s steadiness out the gate is a bit much for Bryce.  He could have higher highs but a rookie is going to have lows.  And part of the reason Teddy was so critical of Rhule was his experiences
