Reich stated to reporters and I'm paraphrasing:  'he's going to catch on to a team that utilizes a true NT.'  That tells me the team is comfortable without a wide-bodied NT.

Personally, I don't understand it.

He doesn’t fit our scheme and he’s not a very good player he was undrafted for a reason

I know he was undrafted, but so is the dude that's supposedly taking his spot.  I hope our 'scheme' isn't to give up chunks of yards up the gut all season.

Good insight from Dunc. Didn’t recognize that he didn’t even start on Friday, so something clearly shifted.

Granted, we’ve been told a million times not to put stock into that first “unofficial” depth chart because it wasn’t put together by the staff, so being surprised we cut a “starter” may be short sighted.

It seems odd that we may not end up 'needing' a traditional NT, but they sure did give it a look, didn't they?  Adjusting the scheme to the personnel at this point, I bet.  Was it we didn't need a hoss at NT all along or we couldn't find one worth keeping and are scheming accordingly?

I think it was the later.

I didn’t hear him say that. What he said was that it came down to fit and there were 2 guys on the roster who have played better than him and jumped him on the depth chart.

Wasn’t it stated that the defense wasn’t even playing most of Evero’s scheme and like the offense keeping things “vanilla”?

preseason, new staff and player evaluation.

Looking at what has been shown/seen, this is the exact definition of having faith.

Tho I know a lot of people don’t understand what’s happening this off-season so far.

Im just hoping there is a lot us fans just don’t have insight into at this time.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
