Dude no. That's a bad call. By the rules CJ had every right to that ball and was playing it just as much as the WR. He was not holding anyone, you can most definitely have your hand on the players back. Just because the ref judged something wrong, doesn't make it the correct call.

it wasnt a bad call he wrapped his waist up, its going to get called 100% of the time

He has every right to the ball. You just can't hook the receiver and leave it to the ref to judge that you hooking him didn't impede him. Just don't do it. Those types of flags have flown for years. Whether you like it or not players have to adapt to that.

    • Dude is screwed.  Go all Steve Wilks and win a couple more games in spite of Bryce……the org is going to keep him tied to Bryce.   You got to at some point just call games as they should even if it means losing to get rid of Bryce IMO
    • Hell no to trading up! Miss me with that talk. Stay put and see who drops. If it's not a qb so be it. But under no circumstances should they trade up. I'm against trading for one personally but im not ruling out that it may be necessary. Just grab one in the draft somewhere and let him compete in training camp and if he's not worth a backup role cut his ass and move on. The point is you don't limit your options. Stop with the long term projects if they are not showing something immediately that would warrant the investment.
    • There is a world where we host the niners in the playoffs and the best chance to beat them would be not letting Bryce throw a pass
