I've seen him.

Maye's size and ability to make all the throws without needing to play hero scramble ball sets him apart from Williams. We shall see. They're both potential franchise QBs. I'd put my money on Maye having the better NFL career.

I like them both. That being said, much like how I stopped caring about college QB prospects after we drafted Cam, I hope Bryce can put me in that place again.

poo’s exhausting lol.

I'm with you. I love Bryce and think we have our guy. I just don't want Maye in the NFCS.

I think you should wait to see how these college qbs fair this season before you try to predict where they will go.  And for the record, just say no to USC qbs. There's something in the water there that makes them worthless in the nfl.

I didn't have have hopes for Corral right out of the gate, and I never understood the pick. Then I saw his dreadful preseason games where he looked like a high school QB who won a contest to play a few games. Let's be honest, whenever the Panthers select a later round QB I expect him to bounce around the league like a pinball and then disappear. I'm guessing fans are blaming Rhule or Tepper for this one, but I can't be bothered to read about it.

He is going to the PS no matter where he goes.  His career is done.  He can tool around and maybe hit as a back up but the odds are long he will ever start a game

That’s why sports is fun.   Because that was likely said about guys from Jake Delhomme to PJ Walker.  From Kurt Warner to Warren Moon.

Agree - he's not totally absolved of the Rhule era, but if he can hit on the 2023 picks and those guys are still on the roster in a year then he would have at least learned from his mistakes.

I mean….Rhule out the door….

Fitt essentially gave up CMC, DJ Moore, 2023 first round pick, a 2024 first round pick,  a 2nd, 3rd and 4th…all those assets to move up just a handful of spots in the draft.

don’t get me wrong.  I like Bryce.  But playing the odds, that’s probably not great GMing.

    • Not many are talking about this player. He played well as a rookie last year. If he refines his blocking, continues studying film, and keeps working hard, I can see him being the next Greg Olsen. I’m expecting 55 catches, 700 yards, 4 TDs this season.
    • I'm not a Bryce hater and I would 100% move on.  Especially looking at how the upcoming qb draft looks on paper.  Hopefully he continues to improve but if in 3 seasons you're still chasing average season numbers then he's not going to be the guy.  You've just got to keep taking swings until you hit.  Average qbs without any elite physical traits cant get it done anymore.  So this year Hopefully he continues to develop and is above average statistically.
    • Meltdowns???? He was pulled by Canales because he wasn't executing the game plan after 2 games into the season so he could watch Dalton execute the offense and show Bryce the windows available in the NFL, how to push the ball down the field and how to step up and move around when blitzed. When Young came back 5 games later he clearly watched and improved. Enough he was named the future starter. He doesn't have a history of  meltdowns nor is there any reason to assume he will have one. From what I have read he is mentally strong and emotional stable. He may have bad games down the road, everyone does. But this is all a learning experience for him and so far he seems to be making progress. I can understand being hesitant on anything Panthers, but Young has surprisingly been able to gain his confidence after a disastrous start. You aren't alone in being cautious but I think he is the future. I thought he was too small and too short to succeed in the NFL. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised last year and am optimistic about the offense for the first time since Wilks and Dalton were decent.
