Observations:

Gophers win.....yay

Gophers HC looked sharp....dressed well

Neb HC.....looked scruffy

The scruffy look made Tepper part with 63 million. Think about that for a minute. “He dresses like sh-t and sweats all over himself.” Yep that’s my guy.

in case anyone is going to Vegas this weekend I got some lock predictions for ya.

UNC 49 UofSC 3

Clemson 3 billion Duke 2

The last 3 (not billion ) to 2 was 1965 1965: Clemson kicks a field goal to defeat Duke, 3-2, the only 3-2 score in Clemson football history, and tying a school record for the fewest points in a Clemson victory.

I expect this game to be more like the 1989 Steve Spurrier  team : 1989: Duke upset a 4-0 and seventh ranked Clemson team 21-17 in Durham

UNC SHOULD ROLL OVER  S carolina  34-21

Duke ain't got the bodies to upset Clemson.

and all joking/hate aside, despite having the best QB which usually determines my picks in college.....I think SC finds a way to win an ugly game.  Unless, UNC just has a vastly improved D I don't know about.

I honestly think that Rhule's "scruffy" look appealed to Tepper. Hey, Belichick dresses like a bum maybe if I hire someone who dresses like a bum too he'll be a good coach!

Now with that said, I think formal wear is one of the dumber things about human society. Like look at me, you know that I'm a super serious person because why else would I be wearing this uncomfortable ridiculous looking thing around my neck and wearing pants and a jacket in 90 degree heat? Dumb. 😂

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
