You’re just trolling his size had no impact on his play and his arm looked strong.

His arm looked strong?   I get he understands the game and is a quick processor but that’s a borderline nfl arm.  Who in the nfl has a weaker arm?

brees made it work the back part of his career so hopefully we can do the same with young

Every complaint people have about Young (size / borderline NFL arm strength / ability to see the middle of the field) was abundantly clear on his College tape.

I'm still amazed we made the pick.

Shenault needs more touches. He’s the Luvu of the offense.

bryce looks poised. Think he became over cautious after second pick. First pick was just a good play by the safety.

burns and brown made the falcons offense one dimensional in the first quarter, and kept it up until the turnovers caught up with them. Even better, brown really stood out yesterday. They stopped running his way until the end of the game. And he LOOKS the part now too. When he was walking out of the tunnel he just looked bigger.

that’s honestly about it. Those were two bad teams going at it; the falcons just realized they needed to run and did it.

Problem is Shenault is a bad WR.  That happens to be really good with the ball in his hands.  You can only scheme him up so much.

But yeah, he might be the best on the team with the ball in his hands

I thought they had a good start to the game, in particular the first drive. I love that they went for it on 4th and 1 despite getting stopped.

I thought Bryce looked good, all things considered. It was his first real NFL game, it was in a hostile environment, it's a new offense with a retooled OL and WR's who couldn't get separation. I was disappointed in the interceptions, especially the second one...but he's a rookie.

I must have missed the scouting report that listed a cannon for an arm. I think we all knew that's not what we were getting. He made a couple of deep throws that showed his arm is plenty big enough to stretch the field. I'd rather have a highly accurate QB with an average arm than a cannon who misses open targets.

Biggest disappointment by far was the self inflicted wounds. Three turnovers, some boneheaded flags...just looked undisciplined.

Again, it's Game 1 and we knew this was going to be a long process.

U kidding me? I didn’t see any wounded ducks back there, if anything the deep attempts to TMJ and Mingo was evidence he can throw it deep on a rope when needed without too much air.   If he comnects on just one of those your whole argument falls apart.

Who has a weaker arm?

Mac Jones, Tua, Brock Purdy, Jimmy G. to start?
