Obviously want to give Young the rest of the season to see if he can show anything but I do wonder if this will be a reverse of the Clausen/Newton scenario. Hurney wanted to trade up to draft Clausen and give up that future first that ended up being Cam but Hurney couldn’t get the trade done and just drafted Clausen with that 2nd instead. In this case, we were able to make the trade and might possibly lose out on a very high pick for that next franchise guy.
