He presents himself well and is a good kid. We were too stupid to not see past that.

I agree.  He's a good kid, not his fault.  But as I said in a previous reply here, he was a game manager in college.  Bama just happens to have better athletes and players than almost everyone they play, so it makes the QB look a lot better than they actually are.

 

I think Bruce's ceiling is somewhere between Andy Dalton and Mac Jones.
