Letting Brandon Beene walk set us back 10-15 years.

Get ready for that 2.0 when evero gets hired as a HC, he takes Morgan or someone from the FO, and whatever team gets them is in the playoffs in 2026. Meanwhile Carolina will still be recycling QBs

This just takes into account the draft. Look at all the BS trades he made... When we hired him, his forte was digging out great talent after round one and deep into the later rounds... allegedly. Who knew they were talking about him digging out the most succulent bits at the buffet....

Oh I know. I just don't have the bandwith tonight to create a whole thread based on his other moves. Obviously CJ Henderson, Miles Sanders, and Ian Thomas's extension lead the list.

I got roasted on here for saying repeatedly that Fitts should follow Rhule out the door. Well, here we are.

I mean as soon as he walked through the door there was just bonehead decision after bonehead decision. Trading for Darnold, fine, but you pick up his $19m 5th year option? What the f*ck. All his trades up in the drafts have been disasters. Have any of his draft day trades worked out?

His best draft pick is probably Icky and that’s not saying a lot after what a terrible game he had today. What is super weird is they went up there last season and didn’t have that problem under Wilks.

Certain people where to busy trying to blame everything on Rhule.  Just because Rhule had “final say” doesn’t mean he was coming up with all the bad ideas.

Having a bad team is the result of many things, but poor drafting and roster management are the catalyst.

Let's take a look at what he's done so far:

2021:

Jaycee Horn - good but hurt all the time and therefore useless to the team

Terrace Marshall - Bust

Brady Christensen - Serviceable but out for the year

Tommy Tremble - Bust

Chuba Hubbard - looked ok last year but now can't crack the lineup over Miles fuging Sanders

Daviyon Nixon - Cut

Keith Taylor - Had maybe the worst game I've ever seen from a CB last year against Pittsburgh, cut

Deonte Brown  - Bust/Cut

Shi Smith - Cut

Thomas Fletcher - LOL

Phil Hoskins - who?

2022

Ikem Ekwonu - looked ok last year, terrible so far this year, not trending in the right direction

Matt Corral - cut/bust

Brandon Smith - cut

Amare Barno - not an impact player, buried somewhere on the depth chart, special teams guy at best

Cade Mays - awful, probably shouldn't be on the team

Kalon Barnes - I don't even know who this is, but apparently he was cut

2023

Bryce Young - incomplete, no way to know if he's any good or not, some troubling signs

Jonathan Mingo - incomplete, seems to be able to get open, has potential

DJ Johnson - a dumb pick even for Fitterer, and that's saying something. Can't even get a jersey

Chandler Zavala - playing only because he has to, spent most of today in Dalton's lap. Probably sucks

Jammie Robinson - see DJ Johnson

So out of 22 draft picks for Fitterer, nine have been cut and aren't on the team, at least four others should have been cut and aren't NFL talent (Tremble, Marshall, Mays, Barno), one can't stay healthy, and the rest are incomplete and/or have major question marks. If you want to know why we suck it starts with having a bottom 5 GM who has no clue how to manage a team or evaluate talent. He was the one constant for the recent sucking besides Rhule and Tepper (who we can't do anything about). Now that he has successfully mortgaged our future it's time to move on as soon as possible.

Yeah. When a grown man doesn’t have a clearly identifiable Adams Apple, but a nut sack where that should be. Be afraid

    • Not in same league. Caldwell just hit a 10.00 on the RAS. 2nd out of 3830 from 1987 onward.  https://x.com/MathBomb/status/2027885023387349047 Yeah I mean Louis had a sub 9.00 RAS. Still very very good, no doubt. Louis is small, no 2 ways about it. He is likely a sub package lb in nickel packages or specialized WLB. Be fine ST gunner to start for sure. 6 foot flat and 220lb is pushing it for a starting LB. At 10 to 20lbs less than the other LBs he'd better be closer to the top in most timed drills. He's gonna be challenged when some of the wrs in the class can matchup bigger stronger faster, much less TE in the run game.  Yeah instinct matter and he has them, but that size is a massive red flag compared to many of the other LBS in this class.    Rodriguez is the LB that really climbed this week from a pure grit guy to great flash with athleticism people wrote off cause he was a QB at first at UVA. 18.4mph in the backpedal. Production the last 2 years were great. I'd be thrilled with him as the future mike.   Hill likely moved out of 51 and into the top 45 picks ( Ravens at 45 I can't imagine don't bite if he makes it there). Honestly Hill imo is a 1st rounder and I'd be ok with him as he fits the MLB we have missed the last few years. People would crow it's a reach but he's top 30 all-time I'm RAS for a LB at 9.9+ . Plus he was big time in big games when he was healthy. And that br a big check: meds.
    • Miller, Melo, Coby, Moose, and Bridges all on the floor at the same time must be a nightmare for defenses lol. Switch one out for Kon and still a nightmare. Coby really does bring a true 6th man value and looks like he could start if Melo was out after only a few games of getting his feet wet.
    • Well I guess he should stop playing football. This was his defining moment and chance to prove he was generational and he failed. What a waste of football life..
