We’d still be a solid franchise if Richardson still owned us. We went downhill quickly once Tepper became the boss.

It's getting to that point. No back to back winning seasons but at least the highs were a fun ride. So far there has been none of that with Tepper. Firing Rivera wasn't even the wrong decision. It was placing himself at the head of the table in the coaching search with Marty Hurney riding shotgun as his yes man instead of hiring real football minds to navigate the process. Now worse yet he has doubled down and entrenched his wife within the ranks.

Let’s see:

-two AWFUL head coach hires. You are in denial if you think Reich is going to work.

-A GM who is drunk and trading picks left and right for nothing in return.

-Terrible draft picks.

Like WTF are they talking about and doing in meetings? It’s puzzling that Tepper can be this bad at football.

I think some people forget what a POS JR really was while drowning in Teppers' endless mistakes. Trading losing for mediocrity at that cost is as sad as these stats.

I won't miss Tepper like I don't miss JR.

I think you’re forgetting or not seeing what a POS most owners in this league. JR was a former player who understood football. We were better off with him.

No thanks. We would be better off getting to try again. I do agree about the most owners thing. On to a the next turd, no need to bring one back.

Firing Rivera was the right move. Tepper has just made wrong one after wrong one ever since.

He should have immediately hired either a nfl consultant or a CEO/president type to handle firing hurney/RR and then let that person build the infrastructure.  His mistake was simply trying to do it and learn how to do it on the fly.  And as you see from the numbers above he doesnt know a damn thing about building a nfl franchise.

Tepper is not a meddling owner, he just kinda sucks at hiring the right guys.

When you don't know poo about the workings of a football organization and you're making the decisions on HC, GM, which players to pursue, having your wife make trades, etc, you're meddling.

What he's doing is basically the equivalent of trying to build 50 million dollar mansion being his own GC when his real job is a dentist.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
