I've ridiculed people anytime they suggest moving is an option. I still don't think it is but I'm honestly at the point to say fuging do it. My daughter was upset because she couldn't watch dino ranchers after her nap because the game was on. Should have let her.  At least they have some balls

This franchise is going to be in the absolute trash for the foreseeable future. Jacksonville I thought was slated to be the next team to pack their bags and move but Lawrence gave their base a big shot in the arm. That leaves Carolina now. The fan base is eroding quickly and if Young continues to be bust material that could be it for fan support in the Carolinas. This will be the NFLs chance to finally get a team in the London market. I could see this playing out in 3-4 years.

This may be a new low for the site. Such a shortsighted perspective. You want to move the team and all of its history? Much easier to just pick a different team to root for.

we are at an all time low. But if you’re done with the team then be done and move on. But leave it for the people that want it and don’t come crawling back if things ever turn around.

Never in my 20+ years of obsessing over this team did I think I would be literally hoping for Tepper to pack up and move it away

To where though?  Every area who should have or deserves a team has one, except maybe St. Louis or, IDK, Portland?  Salt Lake City?

The sad part is that every time I feel like we've hit rock bottom, all time low, the floor just drops out from under us again.

Not one tax dollar of Charlotte residents should go to a new stadium that will be filled with opposing fans.

The moment the Panthers have stands full of their own fans we can talk. But charging local taxpayers to enhance the GameDay experience of visiting fans is idiotic.

That's the proper order of things. Don't like it? Move the damn team.

I've never been more OK with moving the team than now.  Fug it

My dude, be careful what you wish for, because I am 100% certain that after the failure of the Rock Hill project, the continued poor performance of the team and subsequent poor attendance from fans, David Tepper is certainly beginning to consider moving the team. He has run out of goodwill with the community and with the fans. Their Linkedin page is their only social media devoid of constantly being berated for being an awful franchise.

    • By all indications, the surgery was "minor." I know with all surgeries and especially back surgery there can be complications, but I think the whole time Tremble did this with the expectation he would be able to be back for Week 1 It sounds like he will be ready to start back in team drills next week. He's a veteran who knows the system so I'm sure that helps. I still can't imagine he will play a normal workload early on though
    • Maybe. He was pretty good in college before a bad injury. He had a good preseason last year as a UDFA in Washington and was on their practice squad all year so they obviously saw something worth developing. He signed a futures deal with the Panthers earlier this year, and everything about him has been increasingly positive. Tremayne has gotten a decent amount of time with the ones, and a lot with the twos for someone that doesn't have a chance. He's the only other 6'4" plus WR on the team, plays ST, and is a more natural backup to the X receiver position than David Moore. That was my thinking behind it. But he may well end up as one of the last roster cuts. If so, I do hope they can bring him back to the PS. But I personally think there's a good chance he could be claimed given his ST ability and what hes shown at WR.
    • That was my thought originally, but so many of the beat writers have mentioned keeping 7 WRs in conversations that I went with that, at least for the purposes of this projection. But you're right that historically defensive guys who were standouts at ST have tradionally gotten those last spots
