reason # 7443 why I like my GM/HC paired.  When they are unpaired, everyone has different priorities and timetables.  Because the seats are at different temperatures.  

Fitt was coming into this season with a seat at a different temperature than Frank.  I don't think Fitt thought we could have a boring season and wait for the good/heavy QB class of 2024.   I think Frank would have been fine waiting.  Fine just seeing what happened in the draft itself.

This why the gm coach pair is so important. Hiring one then hiring the other later is recipe for disaster.
