What Miami fans are saying. . .

They can kick the Panthers teeth in on Sunday and that will not make me believe Tua will be 100% available in the playoffs any year. Dude had 3 concussions last year? They get to have all the regular season fun but I don't know if they can clinch a SB win even with that coaching.

I hope it's an extra embarrassing game just so Tepper gets an extra week to stew in it. I have no idea how long it will take him to fall backwards into anything good.

People would have be less nihilistic if we hadnt had five straight losing seasons, hadn’t traded the farm for Young, or if Young showed even the slightest sign of being exceptional which he hasn’t. Im not even asking for a “wow” game, just a “wow” moment or two.

As it stands this team is imploding and won’t be able to recover for a few years. It’s hard to stay positive when nothing is going right, and it sucks to suck.

Well when Miami got their SBs we were still fighting in Vietnam. Since Marino retired they have been us this year, ever year.

Sometimes I like seeing teams that haven’t won in a long time win again but then after about a season I’m ready for them to go back in the basement. I imagine people feel the same about us when we had up years.

Isn’t this the franchise that drafted Tua ahead of Herbert and ate the media’s poo for the last 3 years?

Then they got Tyreek, Waddle, McD and everyone loves them.

It’s the same story different year for CAR.

Get. Better. Players. For. Your. QB.

I watched Cam for a decade have nobody to throw to. Don’t repeat the mistake with Young.

I don’t want to make you feel worse but Miami made a lot of vet trades for picks. They traded for Hill because they got rid of Fitzpatrick for a 1st and Tunsil for a couple 1sts and a 2nd (sound familiar?). One of those firsts ended up being the pick the 49ers traded 3 firsts for and the pick we should have had if Rivera hadn’t started Haskins for a week only to release him.

Anyway, while we are minus all the picks for Young, Miami used their tank pick on Tua and then used all the picks received in trades to rebuild their team and make trades like Hill. We are in the same spot except we traded away a bunch of picks and our offensive stars and didn’t trade our defensive guy for the bounty.

Revisit their forum if we somehow find a way to upset them. See how smart and reasonable it would seem then. 😂

I'm pretty sure if their entire team underwent Covid protocols except for their punter, we would probably still find a way to lose. We don't need to worry about somehow finding a way to upset them - it isn't happening.

The only difference may end up being the order of operations. Miami made a bunch of trades and stocked up on picks before getting the QB. We got the QB….and may yet stock up on picks and free agents.

Imo the only players who aren’t going anywhere are Bryce and the OL.

If they don’t feel like they can get a deal done with Burns they’ll trade him. It sounds like they’re already willing to trade Chinn and Jackson.

I know it’s just a sample size but, damn, Miami’s fans write like they have a PhD in EQ while our fans are the “terrible twos” of rationality.

When the organization is putting out media about how we are a potential playoff team right away, people tend to get disappointed.

This is the worst start for this team, ever. Literally going back to 1995.

    • And that makes you right.
    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
