And yet Robert Kraft got caught at rub and tugs and didn't have to sell the patriots.....

Lot of difference in going outside the franchise vs doing his stupid ass rub and tug outside of people who worked for him

women and African Americans put up with enough poo outside work. They shouldn’t have to put up with in inside of it

kraft sucks to mind you…just stating the difference in analogy

Amen.

The Panthers fans (many on this board) who screamed for him to be gone and demanded his statue be removed deserve this terrible period we’re going through. They need to own it.

The rest of us are suffering for their misplaced activism. Things are much worse thanks to them.

Sounds a lot like the country in general now that you mention it…. 🤔

Oh can it, as if the team was ever much more than an occasional blip of the relevance radar while Richardson owned it. He was a POS at work and lost, which was the right move, and the NFL selling to Tepper doesn't change that even with the futility of the past 6 years. Now it's up to Tepper to figure it out and quit being an idiot.

The hypocrisy involved with guys like Kraft is an entirely different matter and one that doesn't change Richardson's BS. Longing for the below-average old days because some other guys got away with BS is a sad state. If you truly feel that strongly don't like it, then prove it and cut the NFL from your life. Otherwise, deal with it and hope Tepper wises up, cause Jerry isn't coming back.

He loved jean day at the office.

I am all but convinced that one Tepper's nieces or something participated in jean day and got cat-called/goosed up by Richardson and now this is Tepper's way of making him pay.

Pretty much the Ted Lasso owner plot.....

Lotta folks value their entertainment over ethics. Lotta folks can look the other way.

however, I bet you got a big problem with the Hornets sticking with Miles Bridges. There’s a stark difference between Jean Friday Jerry and Bridges which anyone who is familiar with your posting history can easily recognize why you are “suffering” (lmao, dork) that Richardson is gone.

For every one good year we had under JR there are 4 below average ones. They wasted Cam Newton and a Super Bowl window by being cheap.

Richardson, like many in his tax bracket, was unethical and more than likely a criminal. Saying racist crap, sexually harassing women, and god knows what else and then just writing a check to buy your way out of any consequences doesn’t sit well with most reasonable adults.

that EZU doofus who pops up here like a genital wart whenever he can tip toe around with dog whistles and right wing virtue signaling thinks our country is jacked up because the NFL made a shitbag sell his NFL team and now he can’t be entertained. Like how stupid is that. Richardson got a check for 5 billion and asked to go away as punishment. Just like Dan Snyder who js 100000% a criminal. That’s the real microcosm of our society that is indicting on how fuged up it is.

Kraft allegedly took his private jet for a quick trip down to Florida for an old fashioned (not the drink) and whatever else they were serving up at that parlor. It was taped, and if that tape ever saw the light of day things would have went much different for Bobby K; and that is not even taking in to consideration the possibility of being a customer to human trafficked sex workers. I’m sure his billionaire status and bank account helped him get off (in more ways than one) from any sort of accountability.

I don’t think it’s a matter of valuing entertainment over ethics.

It’s just that there are ethical dilemmas in literally everything we do. And we put faith in others to tell us if someone is ethical or not. We don’t have time or ability to fully understand anything.

There isn’t a person here who intimately know the people involved in the situation with Richardson. We take employee testimony. Richardson’s testimony. We make a value judgment about all those involved, and then we make a semi-educated guess about what really happened.

That’s all we can do.

But then some people make “matter of fact” statements about the situation like they “know” it to be true. But people are messy; they aren’t math. It’s not black and white: ever.

So by and large, I keep morals and ethics separate from the “art” itself.

Unless someone is prepared to deep dive background check every person involved in any entertainment, every product you buy (how much of our products have slave labor in the production chain?), etc, then it’s best to let poo go at this level, and allow the proper systems in place to take care of the ethics side for us.

Or we can dunk on strangers on the internet behind our aliases with little to no risk, while hoping our moral shortcomings don’t ever get exposed; lest we be subjected to the same treatment we dish out so freely on others.

What a dumb take.

As if Richardson was ousted by Panther fans. 🙄

I won't pretend I read into every single detail about Richardson, but wasn't it all just allegations? Didn't we decide as a society a long time ago that allegations aren't considered true until proven so?

Lots of sexist and racist behavior covered up with NDAs. Another reason NDAs should not exist.

    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
    • I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
