Show me where this is accurate about me since he is quoting to me and you are replying to him. I literally celebrated our win here, on reddit and in discord. I was complementary about Bryce on all three platforms as well. So please show me where I would rather be right than see this teams QB in a better light. I had nothing bad to say about Bryce in this game. The only thing I questioned on offense at all was playcalling.

I was just replying to his comment I don’t care who he was replying to. All I see is the people that wanted Stroud over Bryce are the ones in here shitting on him after we all just witnessed him do more with a lot less on the same field

That is where its confusing because I was the leader of wanting to draft Stroud over Bryce and I have not been out here shitting on him after this game. I haven't written one bad thing about him. Like I said earlier I think folks are just getting lumped in with others unfairly.

I don't think you fall into that category at all.  You have been pretty consistent about wanting Young to get better each week and highlighting his good plays.  There might be a couple people on here like that but they are the minority.  Most fans want him to succeed and want the Panthers to get some wins.

he had time on some plays and just held the ball

He definitely did.  Im not saying he played perfectly.   Also there were definitely some plays where he had time and no one got open at all.  Some of them were definitely coverage sacks.

It's always funny when folks who have been largely missing for a few months save for a few random posts here and there shows up asking where everyone is at now like they've earned the right to strut. Just no. You don't get cool points for hiding when it's convenient.

I'm happy with how Bryce Young played on the whole. But the way we finished the game is not what we should be doing. We barely squeaked by a team we were supposed to be significantly better than anyways and we had to play for a FG in our own house to do it. We've still got a lot of work to do.

How did we go from 6 weeks of “Bryce is a terrible midget bust and Stroud is incredible” to squeaking by a team we are significantly better than? Unreal how much the goal posts move

There it is.  Like clockwork.

How long did that take before you start calling people crazy?

Maturity par excellence

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think we both know all those crying laughing emojis you spam in each post are a mask. I hope you have a better week going forward! 🫡

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
