Or maybe he just sucks at receiver, like how he couldn't crack that loaded KC receiver corps either.

Not saying that's the case, but seems within the realm of possibility.

But who cares at this point? We keep rolling out the same group that gets zero separation besides Thielen week after week. Why not put these other hungry guys out there and see what they got?

True.  But it also reeks of a clown show.   His coach was in the presser selling some bologna again about this WR group.  Especially given what occurred out there Sunday.

I mean, he is straight up responding to Thomas Brown IMO.  And frankly, you probably don't want to be here after that.

I don’t disagree with this organization being a circus. And it’s certainly a sure fire way to see yourself out if that’s what his desire is.

he had 32 return yards Sunday.  All the WRs combined had 43 yards.   Hell, let him run pointless vertical routes instead of putting Sullivan out wide.  At least a defender would have to sort of care about it.

that being said, watch him no longer return punts.

Yea theres plenty to question with this staff. Sure theres not 5 TEs on current team, but they tried their hardest. Frank/Thomas nearly always run the same 3 WRs with ONE TE.......The same slot adam, "slot" mingo, and no longer burner/fast clark.......besides adam, this combo has never worked and its the base.

Just awful and who can not do what clark has done?? Agree with smith-marette. All the reports about Jefferson being one of best WR coaches are false. Same for Mccrown being some HC leader in waiting. This staff has not made any improvement, its the same joke pre-season results.

the thread were folks were dunking saying fitt robbed the chiefs was pure gold

I thought it was a nothing to lose type of trade, 6th for 7th and a current WR/PK. Most teams have already thrown darts starting in the 5th. Plus the panthers needed a PK returner.  Most chiefs fans were upset too, but claimed they didnt have room......in the past weeks thats been funny too....

    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
    • He had the award until like the last 8 games. He sucked ass and flagg had 3 40 point games
