This isn’t salvageable. Nothing about this team is working. Every single aspect of this offense is awful, probably the worst in team history. Our coaching staff is inept. Our pass rush is nonexistent without Burns.

Fitterer and Reich need to go. Hire a new GM, have them hire the coach. Both Teppers need to entirely remove themselves from any and all football decisions. The number one free agency priority next year needs to be O-line, so Bryce Young doesn’t actually die before we draft another quarterback in 2025.

Be prepared for another 2-3 years of being the worst team in the league. There’s no escaping it now. This is rock bottom.

We could at least be mediocre with a real NFL QB instead of the bosses wifes crush. 

The staff is good enough to be mediocre with a guy with NFL measurables. 

Doormat is because our QB fuging sucks and the defense is completely obliterated.

I don't disagree. I think we're probably right around .500 if we're playing Andy Dalton.

He may need a consultant to hire a consultant at this rate lol.  The last help he received did him no favors.  He's definitely going to the wrong minds for help.    

DT just needs to find the most obvious choice for an in-tune, well regarded mind and throw all the money at him and say--"hey blah blah, this is your operation now, make me a winner"

We had someone pretty interesting in the pipeline in Mike Borgonzi if we would have just hired top down at the start of this mess instead of Rhule.  My guess is that he wanted that greater role but we had Rhule in place as the coaching/czar/Pee-Wee Belicheck.  Andy Weidl, Joe Hortiz, just find the obvious FO guy.

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.

      I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol

      Uh oh, Nicole Tepper hugged him. In all seriousness though every time I see more about him my hopes get higher. Smart, great attitude, prototype size and measurables, and athletic. He could be a great one.
