Do you watch CJ Stroud and wonder ‘what if’?

It's like a lot of folks here either only watch the Panthers or are in willful denial. Watch other games. Folks, OL play is in the shitter across the league. There's a handful of legit good OLs and everyone else is varying degrees of bad. You see QBs under duress across the league. Muddy pockets, scramble drills, etc. are largely the norm. If you need a pristine pocket and a runway to step up and throw you're gonna have a hard time. That's one of the key issues with Bryce. He really struggles in muddy pockets. We were told pre-draft about how well he can maneuver in the pocket to find throwing lanes to compensate for his lack of height but we haven't seen it and when he doesn't have room to step into his throws he really struggles to generate velocity. And I don't mean simply following through. The guy needs a runway like most QBs do only when they're throwing a 60 yard hail Mary.

Yeah, we tend to do that to posters who do nothing but troll and fling poo.

I thought you were leaving this hell hole and going back to reddit where the discourse was higher browed? 😂

You've only threatened to do that about a dozen times as if anyone actually cares.

I said it once and if you look at my post history, you would see the decrease in activity. Glad you’re following me around though.

I mean, I watched Kyler Murray of all QBs make some throws under duress that were unreal. Make some escapes that were ridiculous, and everyone calls him a mid QB. There is no way Bryce could pull of some of what he did. I get it, different type of QB, but where Bryce is supposed to be special just hasn't shown up yet.

I mean, people here call the NFL's leading passer this season a mid because they're so triggered by our QB struggling so mightily so I wouldn't pay much attention to the mid talk. 😂

Place is full of it. Ditto with the hirings, it was All Star Staff. Yay.

There were so many people cheering this don’t act like you were not. Hell  I accepted Reich and will go my grave thinking that if had his choice he would have accounted for physical skills in the draft. Young looks far worse than that kid playingfor Minnesota with a wristband. Been there a week and a half.

Every other team’s game you watch you WILL see better quarterback play, with possibly one or two exceptions. Try it.

At this point I honestly would fire or demote a person who was telling me that processor is all you need screw size screw arm strength.

You can’t can’t give away both!

It is freaking crazy that this happened, but look at the times we are in. Crazy is standard.

I 100% admit I drank the kool-aid. It was nice having hope for the first time in 3 years. Those 5 months were great. I trusted the powers that be to make the right decisions to hire a HC and then draft a franchise QB.

Then the preseason happened and I was willing to give it time.

Then the start of the season happened and I was willing to give it to the mid-point of the season to see improvement.

Now we just lost to the team that holds our 1st round pick next year and we are in sole possession of the worst record in Football without the #1 overall pick to look forward to. We haven't even hit rock bottom and we're already lower as a franchise than we have ever been before.

There is absolutely zero hope for the future which is the worst part. Our owner is incompetent and hires incompetent GMs and HCs.

Go ahead and plan your vacations for the middle of the season next year, it's not going to get any better, no point in watching it.

My fear is Tepper tries to overcompensate this offseason and signs a ton of mid-tier FAs to record breaking deals to try and offset the lack of a 1st round pick and to try and drum up excitement to sell tickets next year. Still trying to fix the train while it's moving.

We are screwed until 2025 at the earliest but most likely screwed in perpetuity as long as Tepper is in charge.

Their starting QB was... John Skelton maybe?  I don't remember.  The main thing I remember was Ted Ginn, who was then a Cardinal, getting laid out and fumbling on a kickoff return.  That was the turning point in the game.

John Skelton would be mad that you confused him with Ryan Lindley.

The Cardinals that day had a total of 78 yards of offense, lowest in NFL history for a playoff game 🥶

Don't for get the Fritterer specail of trading away talent for lesser talent. Thinking of the rebuilding an Oline designed for another type of offense seems like the biggest place they could fail. People who think this oline is bad could have a real surprise coming next year.

Good lord you think Tepper will become the GM when he fires Fitt? Nightmare scenario.

    • I can't sell mine for the $250 transfer fee and they have been listed more than a year. It's my last year anyways, I wouldn't sign an extension anyways. I'm walking if I can't sell them. I won't be going to a game anyways this year. They don't resale for much and that wasn't something that made me happy unless it was a game or 2 a year. It's time for me to walk. The team can take it and resale it or whatever. I'm way past recouping anything and just ready to spend that money someplace my family would enjoy.
