He is playing.  It's a good reason to pull him if things get ugly fast.

Something does tell me this game will be closer than we think.  Sometimes the Cowboys overlook bad teams like the Cardinals...

For this to be a "trap game" for Dallas they would have to fall in a stellar blackhole..............nothing short of that will change the no sale knot that they will ring up on top of Carolina's forehead in this game.

Lol I get it. Just saying sometimes strange things happen. “That’s why they play the game.”

It honestly wouldn't be the worst idea to hold him out of this one. But you do run the risk of the offense looking semi-competent again with Dalton which would introduce some uncomfortable truths.

I doubt this offense would look semi-competent against Dallas if we had Mahomes at QB.

If he's legitimately banged up I don't see the need to risk him for this one.

But if Dalton starts and the offense magically looks efficient again this place is going to be awkward.

Somehow The cowboys will just have the worst defense in the league for one week. I already see it.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
