Is the game on Sunday going to be postponed?

This might be the least attended game in NFL history with these two awful teams playing in even more dreadful conditions.

We might fug around and win this game somehow. All bets are off when the weather is gonna be THIS bad. The Jags gave us a fight in Monsoon Bowl despite us being a far better team. It's just tough to accomplish anything on the football field in these conditions.

Oof. Just when you thought our games couldn't be even harder to watch, it'll be a RB game by both teams. 9-6 Panthers. Thank jesus for RedZone.

Yeah and 9 being a TD and Safety and the 6 being a TD and no XP. Going to be like watching the Canton Bulldogs and Cleveland Tigers in 1920.

Projected 3-4 inches of rain with wind gusts around 50mph, flooding and mass power outages in our area.  It could be a historic low pressure system for our area.

Interesting question,  may be a good question. I personally do not know of an NFL game that was called before it even started. I have seen games played through snow storms, rain storms, etc.

however, I have seen games postponed or rescheduled due to hurricanes.  I have seen games interrupted by lightning.

Atlanta Falcons play their games in a dome. I think such a game maybe an advantage for the Panthers .  I am sure many Falcon players don’t know how to swim.

I was at the Monsoon game but at my house watching it on TV. My wife got soaking wet.

Top 5 in terms of fun experiences for me.  I've never seen so much rain in a 30 minute window.  Literally, the only place anywhere around where it was raining was directly over the stadium, and it was a monsoon for real.

I don’t think it would have helped lol I was watching that game from beef O Bradys in Boone and you couldn’t see anything on the TV from the rain

It was crazy! A river was flowing down all the steps full of beer cans and nacho containers!

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
