Eagles fans hated this dude. As soon as it leaked Tepper was interested in him, I had in-laws and friends hitting me up saying they were begging for the Panthers to take him.

We requested an interview, but then didn't even follow through, so not sure where you're getting Tepper has a "hard on" from him.

Keep in mind the rumor was that Wilks was targeting Johnson as his OC if he had gotten the HC gig last year also.

 It was posted else where but OCs don't last more than 2 years in the modern NFL. Either they don't produce in a short time while getting fired or they do and get hired away. 

They should have just hired Steichen as the HC last year before letting him get away. They would still be in the playoffs but they decided to keep the defensive HC that just nosed dived his playoff team the second half of the season.

But to be fair it’s reported that Hurts was freelancing and changing the play at the line and the constant yelling at that Hurts was getting from other Eagles players might give credence to that claim.

I heard Wilkes wanted Frank Reich to be his OC.
