After finally getting to sit down and watch it I came away impressed and confident in Canales, quite a bit less so with Morgan.

As a few have mentioned, I don't really care how Morgan does in a press conference.. may not be his thing. I wanna see the results in the coming months. That will speak louder than any press conference.

Well Canales is charismatic, I'll give him that.

Morgan, however, is not a good public speaker.

Good thing we didn’t hire him to be a public speaker.

We’re not all wired to be extroverts and good at public speaking.

The man is definitely going to be a great GM.

I took notice to how his demeanor switched to an aggressive dead serious tone when he said something about "It's all about alignment, plain and simple". With emphasis on the plain and simple. He said that as he poked the table kinda hard with a look in his eyes like he was ready to hit someone.

Dan is not a great speaker, but he has a lot of fire and conviction. He is very different from Fitt in that regard. I mentioned before, but he was openly saying we currently suck, we don’t have the right players etc. I really liked what I heard from him.

I’m not allowed to criticize Morgan or I’ll get banned. But let’s just say he seems like a good soldier

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
