Division Talk: Falcons are heavy favorites to land Justin Fields

Lol

Think about…who originally had the first pick going into the 2023 draft.

my point being that Justin Fields wasn’t lighting it up either in 2022 but people on this board are claiming it’s because the team was bad but won’t give Bryce that benefit.

Im pointing out the hypocrisy more than anything. Not trashing Fields.

Well one has the physical ability to be an NFL QB and one doesn't. Fields might become a better player but Young will always struggle physically. That's the difference.

Literally the same reason people ars always interested in a QB on a rookie deal, they think they can salavage it. Remember Sam Darnold? How did that work out?

I'll give you some homework, find me an underperforming top 10 QB that has ever been traded during their rookie deal and ever turned it around.

Spoiler alert: You are gonna find out that this doesn't happen.

Well the good thing is we get to see it happen. I keep receipts so I will leave it at that.

If I am Atlanta I would go after Sam Howell instead

100%. He showed way more flashes in one year than Fields has in three. I don't buy into Howell but I can buy into the HOPE part.

Fields....you got three years of him just not being able to get over the hump. Meanwhile you look at guys like Stroud, Cam, Mahomes, Watson, etc. Stars from the moment they saw the field. THAT is what a successful first round QB looks like in their rookie deal.

Not exactly a fair question for this situation though.

Pretty much any Top 10 picked QB that gets traded during their rookie contract, is doing so because they already look like a bust.  Most aren’t even traded, but cut, outside of Darnold, Lance, and Rosen, no other recent trades come to mind while still on their rookie deal.

This is a very unique situation where they lucked into the top pick of a draft with a generational prospect.  If this was last years class and coming off the season Fields just had, they wouldn’t be looking to trade Fields right now.

I believe Fields can give Atlanta a pretty big big boost.

What has he had, besides Moore? I’d have to look, but I don’t think much.
Just him and that running back are enough to handle. You think play action will work for them? A little.

Sure. I'll accept went elsewhere after a rookie deal too. It still comes up zero.

That's what I mean, the history of these busts turning it around is horrible. Predominantly because....well.....they are busts. You either figure it out or you don't. Doesn't mean he can't be a league backup. Doesn't even mean he might not be an eventual Geno Smith. But, it does mean he is what he is......a bust.

    • If you blink often, you might or might not have eye issues. If your eyes aren't dry, your blinking may be caused by stress. If your excessive blinking is caused by stress, find ways to relax. If a tic is unlikely, talk with your ophthalmologist. If you want to ensure that your eyes aren't puffy, put your eye gels and creams in the fridge. This coolness will help to reduce inflammation, plus it will feel great when you put it on. Be sure to use your gel or cream every day for optimal results. Keep saline solution within reach. You can easily protect your eyes at work by wearing goggles. However, most people don't wear goggles for cleaning up in the home. If cleaning chemicals or soaps get into your eye, your first step should be to rinse the eye thoroughly using saline solution. Use a cotton wool pad soaked in a solution of rose water and a couple of drops of castor oil. When you place these pads on the eyelids, you can reduce the effects of eye burn. Other irritating issues with your eyes can be diminished or avoided using this method as well.   Read This Also:   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/a484a905-2985-4ca2-a25d-47c97ef83b12   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f60130c8-5c59-4a60-94e8-61f3abcbdf41   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f1ca107a-2c32-4b0d-bfcf-4efc6021149c   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/735f7e69-c489-4962-a244-aa3fa91bfddc   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/8323f628-d520-4b42-a38c-990f289863dd   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/6f4d5f82-d12f-492f-b5eb-0bb5d220bd99   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/525e1033-ad79-4cb9-bed6-2866753611a0   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/0107abb0-cf2b-41bf-aad4-cd573505fc54   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/3f30e8c3-bbed-437d-ba23-f70b993ed2d9   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f562319d-a34d-44a5-89b1-8350a3b0fe98   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/919d41bf-cb97-41f7-8249-19636b72455d   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/0934fc64-a653-4379-ace8-a568b0dea68b   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/78269853-0517-4f12-92c3-4be1c1aa13fb   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/b0c67b70-be1f-4107-84de-3fa83dbb56ba   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/06788542-58c6-4ae5-910b-ecbb78500d6c   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/589fb52b-bddf-429b-888d-f940019741de   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/805194cc-1664-4e4e-8bfb-5a8a9dcc1060   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f67e3cd7-f097-4969-b5ef-c7044bfd998f   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/75948776-07ce-48c8-9871-1422ac7769e4   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/dc8fc1e3-6216-441c-a44f-42447f6695dc   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/215da7df-0d21-4031-941a-d6327ebc39d9   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/759c4712-b49b-4ea6-9220-17e8ec3b7939   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/97b66549-5a25-421f-a053-e63fc7f6334a   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/87b56a8e-4c45-481d-b36a-c54e4da1366b   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/9f1b82a9-c028-4b85-8d25-3733c7d67516
