Evans wants to play with an "elite QB"

I guess he can only go to like 4 teams if he is looking for a truly elite QB.

Ravens, Chiefs, Bills, or Bengals.

He probably could be the featured WR with the Chiefs or Ravens so I guess that moves it down to 2 teams

Jets. They'll make sure if it

Evans was never a option here.  Why would he?  Money?  Are there not a half dozen other teams with similar or better free agency money?

I don't care honestly.  Evans is due for a slump. Heck we were able on several occasions to shut him down to mediocre stats in recent memory. He is a decent player but the timeline doesn't match up. He is looking for a ring and padding his stats. KC, Jets or Baltimore make way more sense.  Our hope is to find a mid tier FA that needs a change of scenery and add youth in the draft. Evans, Higgins, etc are dreaming.  Smith-Marsette, Mingo, and AT are the guys here and hopefully a double dip in the draft with a mid tier FA. Three new WR's to the mix is the goal. Evans is highly unlikely to be one of them.

Not saying this as a “cope” for the panthers but he’s gonna go where he gets paid and I have a feeling that’s New England.

There is absolutely no reason for him to go to New England.

Wait, are we saying Bryce isn't Elite?!?  Wasn't he branded as an elite processor?  I think this all but confirms that Evans will be a Panther next season.

Last season Bryce was elite at processing what throws he couldn't make and throwing the ball out of bounds instead of racking up an extra 10 interceptions

Also I’ve come to the belief there are no absolutes in the NFL…hell Deandre Hopkins said the same thing last year and signed in Tennessee.

Good point.

Still don't think he's coming here, but he'll move the goal posts to fit whatever he wants at the moment.

He'll probably have to wait till after the draft, though. Whoever doesn't score big time in this WR draft class will come knocking.

You have to think that a class like this will dilute his value a bit.

It also means that while he and Tee might get astronomically large contacts, this will be the last year we see WR contacts like that except for the most poorly run organizations.

If future WR classes are anything like this year's class, WR could end up being like RB has become.

We need a younger playmaker with speed. That’s what our offense is going to be built around, running game, quick release and make them pay with play action when available (the be special 3-5 times a game type play). We need speed in the worst way, pairing Evans with a 33 year old Thielen is not going to help us as much as someone with an extremely quick release
