I'm pretty that was Dan's thought when he scouted him.

Could be. I think he could be good as a NB slot guy. He's one of those annoying turd corners that sticks with the WR and can't get free of him. Just when you think you're free of him he's there again. Athletic enough to stick with anyone. Hes going to make any target uncomfortable for the QB.

If he makes the 53, I'll be shocked. I know we are thin but not impressed. We have an OT with a 2nd-3rd grade still out there. Really thought we take Christian Jones.

A 5th rounder isnt getting cut. Especially when his competition is Bootle, D.Jackson, L.Jackson, and AJ parker, all of whom have contributed nothing in the NFL.

A lot of the same things were said about Jammie Robinson

Much like sanders this year, he was the only pick I liked last year. He was TERRIBLE, 100% would have be cut if not for being drafted. Guys off the streets were getting snaps over him.

Go look at drafts from the last few years. The reality is it's hard to find starters at this point. This wasn't a reach.

If anything, DBs later on is a spot that we've been able to find more than others, historically speaking.

Bene, Munnerlynn, Norman, Worley, McClain (did well elsewhere)

    • That is why he's been actually able to run scrambles for the past few games because teams don't fear him as a runner and sure as hell don't fear him for a QB sneak.  So yeah, no team is spying him to keep him in containment if plays break out of structure.
    • I honestly do think it is an intelligence thing. The whole Rico debacle opened my eyes. Rico was hot. Two 200+ games in a row, complete dominance. Dave was not smart enough to play Rico instead of putting in an injured Hubbard (Hubbard even said he came back injured. I'm sorry, that isn't low intelligence, that is an IQ of a 5 year old and I still think a 5 year old makes the right decision. Injured guy, or not injured guy killing it? Think about how low of intelligence you have to make that decision. That is mid season firing decision. So much so that investigation into fixing a game should happen. Its like Dave can't make decisions during the game. Like he is handed a gameplan and not allowed to change it. Its that obvious. There are only 3 scenarios. Dave is given the gameplan before the game and not allowed to deviate, he is fixing games, or he is incredibly stupid. I think it is one of the first two, I dont think he is that stupid.
    • The speed of the moving parts when he dropped to the ground the defender was already lunging forward to make a tackle.
