A rookie isn't NFL caliber day one?! This is unprecedented! It's not as if the organization has millions invested in training and coaching to improve his athleticism and skill or something. Throw him away, he's useless.

wr is a tough transition as most guys can only run a third of the route tree. A lot do that is dude to the gimmicky offenses colleges run nowadays.  Anyone expecting xl to dominate in year 1 is setting themselves up for disappointment.  He will prob provide more highlights in sound bytes than actual plays on the field.

Dipper has been touting analytics since he inked the deal...reality is he isn't even close to  knowing  how to use NFL statistics and proof is drafting a  5 10 heisman qb... recently drafted a busted up RB....and now a one year one hit wonder in college...  my analytics say if u put ketchup on steak ur an idiot. I try to get pumped about this team but reality keeps hitting me in the face. Hope we got somethin game one...thats when the clock starts.....

If you can get things right with that it’s a plus.  Any tool that you can find, you use. 

Okay I won’t argue the drafting of Young. Hated it. And like to go by what my mind and experience tells me not a spread sheet or whatever. 

I did note that we hired maybe the leading analytical guy just this offseason. If analytics was responsible for where we are now... that guy has been replaced with a universally top rated dude.

Chase didn’t struggle in camp. He had the dropsies, i.e. getting open but not catching it. They are two completely different problems. Chase had 1455 yards and 13 TDs. There was no learning curve issue with him.

I get that Legette needs some time to develop but throwing out comparisons that aren’t remotely close doesn’t mean anything.
