Will Legette be “red shirted” this year?

927 yards and 3 td's on 49 catches his first year rookie is a jag? That's like the numbers average of DJ Moores first 3 years with way less receptions lol.

And in a completely different era of the NFL where hitting 1000 years was a big deal and offenses did not pass nearly as much.

But I think they were willing to risk a bit of a raw first round pick (yes,  I know) in hopes they he develops into that generational talent. The kid has all the goods. Jerry Rice struggled big time his rookie year, keep that in mind.

Jerry Rice had 2 HoF QB's throwing him the ball a majority of his career though.

Already?

Your position on labeling Young a bust early has been thoroughly clear. But XL is a bust before one regular season snap?

I have never labeled Bryce Young a bust and have consistently said I believe in him.  You are flat wrong pal

Why is he baseball diving for the home plate on this play? I guess it was a scramble but I still don't get it

Maybe he needs to drill baseball slides until it's second nature.  I'm not sure that he's comfortable sliding.  I would imagine that when you're trying to go down on purpose in the heat of the moment, you aren't consciously thinking "I should probably slide here".  It needs to be a reaction.

Edit;  I'm not even talking about the right play lmao

We haven’t really ever had that for the WRs though. Outside of 2015 when guys were overachieving

You are right no doubt. It’s also why we keep cycling through staffs. This is a new one and hopefully we have one that can do it. Something about a blind squirrel finding a nut?

It looks to me like he was getting low to make the catch and then sees Johnson at the last minute and stumbles to get out of the way. He broke his route to track down the ball not realizing it was for DJ.

I know exactly what you're talking about lol. BY admitted he didn't practice it at all prior to last year and looks like it's still an afterthought

    • In January 2014, I posted this on another forum.  Seems like it fits again:   Do you remember cheering for the rain? Trying to sleep after “The no-call”? Do you know who needs to "Ice up, son"?   Remember pleading for .500? Thinking there’s no catching the Saints? Punting to Buffalo and knowing how it was going to end?   Do you remember how you felt about Kalil’s ad? Or the fan’s follow up? Gruden’s interview with Cam?   Do you remember Clausen being the steal of the draft? Will you ever forgive Mel Kiper?   Did you cry as Jake said his goodbyes? Do you remember the game that cost Gruden his job?   As fans chant “Luuuuuuke,” do you still hear “Moooose”? … “Hoooove”?   Do you recall changing the diaper? Paddling the boat? Being happy just hearing the name Smoot?   Do you recall the day when it hurt to say “Keep pounding,” and you felt you’d lost a close friend?   Did you hunt the net for Bojangle’s commercials? Have you seen a Cajun’s bare butt?   Do you remember the sunken feeling when Smitty was caught from behind and didn’t get up?   Sports Illustrated’s prediction?   Were you angry at Janet for stealing the spotlight? Does “X-Clown” still give you chills? Do you sing the wrong words to “Day-O”? Whenever you hear “He Hate Me,” do you also hear Rosinski finishing the sentence?   Did you like Seifert a little less when he let Walls’ streak of games-with-a-reception end? But nothing compared to letting Steve go, right? Do you remember that invincible feeling you had when we won the first game of 2001? Do you recall who our division rivals were?   Do you remember thinking “Just wait ‘til Bazooka’s healthy”? How about that weird grin you got watching Kevin Greene fire up the D? Or being undefeated at Ericsson?   If your answer is “no,” we happily welcome you as a new fan of our beloved team. Trust me, we’ll be happy to explain all of these and more to catch you up. For the rest of you, it’s been entirely too long since we were alive after week 17. But every question that you answered “yes” to makes this all the sweeter. Welcome to the playoffs.
