Could solve future at QB by trading for Justin Fields NOW...Steelers get choice of 2.... Bryce or M Sanders or Johnson or Mingo

I don’t see Johnson getting traded back to the team that traded him to us at the beginning of the year. Would that even be legal?  Couldn’t do that in the NHL.

I heard Mel Kiper mention that he has heard from some GMs that aren’t excited by this draft overall and thinks the talent pool will be sub par.  If you look at the second and third rounds of some of these mocks I can see what they mean.

Trading down for extra picks this year may not be smart.  We need BPA

I really don't think there is anyone in this draft worth trading up to #1 for. May end up being proven wrong but I don't want to be on the losing end of that sort of trade......again.

I am still in favor of standing pat unless a wild trade offer is made. BPA all the way. IDC what position in that top 5 range. Just make it a clear cut and relatively safe second contract, solid starter. Elite if possible.

No, I was referring to having the #1 pick already.  I think, in that case, you have to take the best QB if you don't have one.   Trading up? We have proven we can't do that.

This right here. And yet we are still gonna hear the constant trade down talk all the way up to the draft on here. Me personally,  I don't think this draft is top heavy. I think the value is in the later rounds for solid role players at  best. You can get by on that when fielding a defense and offense more. You just gotta make sure you make right picks.

    • And again, the TLDR of the above is........ My expectations for T-Mac's rookie season have nothing to do with him and more because of my expectations for the rest of the WR room. I think his 2nd season when we then lose Thielen and replace him by just shifting everyone else up a spot in the pecking order and replace him with an end of the bench guy, is when he explodes for a huge yardage season. XL and Coker wouldn't make a good 1/2 combo with Thielen in the slot.  But T-Mac as the 1 with Thielen in the slot has the real potential to make XL/Coker an actual elite 2/4 combo.  Drafting T-Mac drastically changes the potential impact of those two, if anything, that's the biggest thing taking him did to the offense. Because honestly, how many teams have a 3rd and 4th receiving option as good as XL and Coker?
    • good one though it’s really no joke. I know a few friends and family members that suffer with this condition.
    • There's nothing normal about a 73 year old dating a 24 year old and a wildly successful NFL coach going to the college level in his twilight years is unprecedented. Yeah, raving success or absolute clown show. We'll see how it plays out on the field but this is why I was always very apprehensive about going after Belichick. The odds of it going the clown show route seem to be increasing by the day.
