XL shoulda caught that but Bryce has to stop throwing behind his receivers. That’s three or so this game that won’t say are “bad throws” but he’s not helping his receivers at all throwing behind them. They’re not drops either because the ball needs to be placed in the direction of their momentum.

Just now, electro's horse said:

Maybe, but those 2017/2018 teams had randos off the street playing offensive line. 2008 offense did not have as great an offensive line.

2024 panthers will have wr production that matches it in totality. Don’t forget that 750 yard rookie was out of the league two years later.

2015 was carried by Cam, which again is why is said “outside of qb.”

take things in their totality. You’re only talking about fantasy football positions; I’m talking offensive line too.

The OL is very good this year, better than we've had in forever. But as we're typing this up XL drops a ball that bounces off his helmet, lol.

missed FG's and a bad call by the refs. Sure we'll blame Bryce for that right?

Oh god please stop being so dramatic. Nobody is sending Bryce to the guillotine here. But our offense absolutely needs to improve in the red zone. And as I finish typing this we just punted again.

At this point I'll be shocked if we even score 20 points.

We have some injuries yes but we've invested a ton in this offense. 150 million in one offseason on the interior OL. 1st and 2nd round picks traded up for offensive skill players. This offensive output is unacceptable. Doesn't matter where you want to assign blame it has to change.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
