About that run defense

Evero better have a plan to stop Barkley and the Eagles rushing attack. I don’t care if he has to put 11 in the box, there’s nothing more demoralizing than having a team rush for more than 200 yards on you. I would rather take my chances with Jalen Hurts even if he throws for 500 yards.

that or in typical panther fashion, we’ll contain him but allow some scrub WR on their team to get 100+ yards and 3 TDs

If a soft zone can't stop it then that's about all of Evero's solutions.

Not likely, it would have been tough even with DB out there. Run the ball, control the clock and most importantly score TDs in the RZ. Stopping Saquon is pipe dream, the Eagles have made it very difficult for them to get 1 dimensional on offense.

I'm sure Evero will try to have a plan but I'm still not sure how we're going to stop it with our defensive personnel currently. Their strengths match our weaknesses very well and it might be an ugly one if it gets out of hand early. I don't forsee us running the ball any better than we did against TB either, but maybe I'm wrong.

Evero is really killing us. His scheme has stopping the run as an afterthought.

Our interior Dline is tissue paper and our linebackers get washed out nearly every play. I'm not sure what scheme he can call to prevent our current group from just getting manhandled.

At this point, I'm not it's Evero. Not to say he isn't partly to blame, but at some point it's about having the jimmys and joes to make the plays. And right now, I'm sure we have enough of those.

It's time to let Canales choose his own DC this offseason. Keeping Evaro took a bit off his plate his rookie season but it's time for him to put his identity on the defensive hires

It’s partly to blame but even last year we sucked against the run due to his scheme

you not going to be able to stop Barkley, the plan needs to be to limit the damage as much as we can and then get them off the field on 3rd down.

Evero is doing the best with what he has but we have no D-line depth. The starting 3 wear down and there is no quality depth behind them.
