All this back and forth over Bryce Young and Legette because of course. But I just want to see us lead a scoring drive of any kind here. It's a very low bar but that's where we're at.

Blitz every down. Every single one. CBs have to man up. Baker is too comfortable in the pocket. Bucky isn't getting any contact until he's 10 yards down field. This isn't an NFL level defense talent wise.

And man, some of these throws Baker is making exemplifies the current element that is missing from Bryce's game. That ability to dynamically drive the ball just isn't there.

The first drive was very pretty for sure. Bryce's touch and placement on the softer midrange throws has improved. Just no explosion yet.

Has anyone ever seen Xavier Woods actually be in good position?  I feel like every game I’m watching a huge play or td for the other team and he’s running back to his spot from a mile away.

The D can't get off the field, sure, but our O can't stay ON the field. The D forced 2 FGs but our O couldn't respond on either drive. Both sides of the ball are loaded with injuries/whatever so we can "see" what our young players have...
