We just stole Tet from the Saints and Bryce now has Tet, XL, AT, Coker, Moore, and Chisena as his WRs.

I do remember toward the end of the season many pundits mocking him here..at No. 3 overall.

He fell like hell since then. Mcshay had him rated 50th in this draft, I had him as the 3rd wr in the draft and an early second pick. Horrible pick value wise and could've got someone just as good tomorrow.

Contested catches in college is not impressive, it's a red flag for how little separation they'll get in the NFL

Golden is clearly a better receiver. This was a Tepper pick. He's our GM, we have to accept it.

With plenty of trade options, the #Panthers stick and pick: They select at No. 8 #Arizona star WR Tetairoa McMillan -- T-Mac.

He's been quietly throwing with QB Bryce Young in LA. They two are already developing a connection.

This makes sense, looking at his outfit. Definitely thought he knew we were gonna pick him before the draft.

Well it's an offensive league we got a #1 pick and an offensive head coach. I'm concerned about the defense. But nobody available at our pick was going to save this pass rush as a rookie anyways.

Meanwhile the Eagles defense dog dicked Patrick Mahomes into the dirt for a superbowl rout backed by Georgia defenders and the Panthers pick a WR who quietly gets traded for a 5th round pick in 3 years

I don't mind it but I've accepted we're just never going to go for a shiftier short area quickness type who could break the big gains.

With this now done, defense could be the next 2 picks.  Maybe a OL mid rounds, but now the focus is on maybe going up to get Ez/Emmanwori/etc. whoever falls to the late first.

Bryce gotta produce.... it's no excuse now. I'm not even saying tet is a bad player. But you gotta come out slinging that rock next year to justify this move. He gotta finish top of the league in passing. There is no leeway.

    • That he gets worse while at the same time getting more exposure is just typical.
    • And, yes, I've been a slow boil, but watching continually watching shitty displays of football for weeks has me frustrated.
    • Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable.  Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island.  And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
