Hates it for Jewel.  He played well for us.  His veteran leadership will also be missed. Pretty late in the summer to be looking for a starting MLB.

gotta sign someone.  We seem to be letting our young players get an opportunity to get some experience, but safety and LB are concerning

No offense to any of these guys, I’m rooting for them

But depressing to think the #Panthers LB corps went from being near top of the league for years to starting training camp with an inexperienced group

best hope now is a team cutting aging vets for their own youth movement I guess.  You sometime can snag some good players when those cuts hit but they are pricey

Quick glance says he is good against the run, but a liability in coverage.  2 down back.  Might be the best available at this point, though.
