It really is good to see. Just like D Brown had his best season after getting paid. These guys love the game. I'm sure they appreciate the generational money too, but they actually LOVE the game. We'll see what happens with Jaycee.

D Brown was injured his first game after getting paid and was out all season.

And playing in the rain is one of the worst things to do with a hammy. Just asking for trouble.

Yeah, it's pretty much standard practice for anyone nursing a lower body injury to be held out of bad weather practices even if they would otherwise be out there. Sloppy footing just adds to the potential of reaggravation.

I stand corrected. Thought he was extended before the 2023 season.

Panthers luck will be he never stays healthy again after a big contract. We have seen that curse here before, that's for damn sure.

On one hand, I agree.

On the other hand, our mascot is a black cat and we seem to have the worst injury luck just about every year.

I swear..... it feels like 90% of time panther reward some player with a big bag, they get injuries or fall off performance-wise or cut/traded... (within 3 years)

Honestly it feels like many teams have the same curse. It feels like you have to factor in the player missing at least one year during the 2nd/3rd contract or be cut/traded/talent-drop within 2-3 years.

It's almost like don't pay anyone. Trade them for picks or tag. Only pay- burrow, Jackson, Allen, malhomie, Parsons, JJ, Jones, williams, lamb, chase, Garrett, Lawrence, and couple more top elites. top 30-ish gives money, everyone else trade or other.....

It still blows my mind how bad of a situation Bryce walked into that year. Doesn’t feel real how terrible that staff and roster was. How did we even win 2 games lol

Stewart is a Saint and a Good Man. I cannot take anything you say seriously until that is changed.

It really is mind blowing how we went from being one game out of the playoffs after a complete meltdown by Ickey in a single quarter to trading the farm for Bryce Young and completely restarting a rebuild without having a real core of talent to build around.

Pure lunacy.

Not a whole lot of content today due to the heavy rain. Press conferences are starting up (I won't have time to listen and summarize them today)

Seeing this catch by T-Mac actually made me realize how much these rain practices are actually a good thing for this team, but more particularly, for T-Mac himself.

Arizona has the most days of sunshine per year in the country, he likely doesn't have a ton of practice time catching in the rain, which unfortunately takes one of his biggest strengths and turns it into a borderline weakness.

It's difficult to be a pure hands catcher in these kinds of conditions, it's what stood out in this clip so much to me, it's really rare to see him darn near cradle the ball into his body, especially on such a short/easy route like this one.
