Not being able to breath, feeling like you are suffocating is in fact a serious injury especially when you job relys on cardio.   Ive never heard of a mild collapsed lung but it may be a thing I just never heard of it.

Maybe not "terribly serious," but it can take 6-8 weeks to fully heal according to the web, depending upon the severity and type of injury. Hopefully it's not cracked ribs or anything that caused it.

I'm not surprised it ended up being something more severe than just simple overheating. When I am saw that he'd been taken to the hospital I was like... that's weird. I would assume they'd have everything they need there at team facilities to handle simple overheating. I mean, the treatment is basically to sit there and chill out, maybe get a hydration IV. That's about it.
