The compensation is quite good for the player. The decision to trade seems foolish based on our situation specifically.

Oh well. I guess it's ride or die with the young guns. If they end up dying.....not sure how this is gonna work out for the FO/Coaching staff.

Looks like an elaborate pick swap

Basically our 2026 7th round pick became an additional 5th round pick in 2026.

And our 2027 5th round pick became an additional 4th rounder.

Looks like Morgan caved on the compensation he wanted.  I think Theilen must have really wanted to go back home.

AT's been a stand-up guy for us. From what I'm seeing it looks like he wanted this to happen to go home to Minnesota.

If you count the delayed year, basically we got two fifth round pics this year. But that fourth round pick will come in handy in 27. 

We did right by him, and got some assets.
