You guys are so fuging miserable

I want Bryce to succeed and live up to his draft position. I'm just frustrated we've seen this middling Bryce far too often during season starts, and for what we've given up to draft him, I'd like him to be a settled top notch starter in the league, not a "maybe he'll be top tier in a decade."

Sunk cost fallacy is at play here, and if Young doesn't show out consistently, it's time to move on.

I thought he got a lot of chances with both us and Miami. Didn’t he start one season for us?

The story goes Fox wasn’t a fan because Moore wasn’t a rah rah guy like Jake was.

We take Clausen in 2010 and Moore had no leash to grow or make any mistakes. I believe he got concussed at one point as well. The offense  was always better under Moore vs Clausen.

The time to play Moore was benching Jake at half time vs Arizona.

What I care about most this season is getting an answer on Bryce... So far we're getting one.

We’ve always had the answer

Looking good but not winning games against teams that are fairly already locked in the playoffs at the end of the year OR WHO  DO NOT  TAKE THE TEAM SERIOUSLY shows  nothing

this game matters and he has like zero intensity    How do you not see those the play is covered with clear space in front of you for a first down, pull the ball down and make the first

I guarantee you Pennix is already many times better than Young

if young wants to keep his job, he needs to lead this team, right now, get points on the board, make them competitive

AND STOP LOOKING LIKE A SLEEP WALKING DUMB poo

This break needed to Panthers more than anything… coaching is ass, defense is gassed.  It’s like an early early half longer time.  You can try new thing and than reassess again.

I hate to sound pessimistic, but unless that new thing is rewinding the entire last offseason and finding a replacement QB, it’s not gonna matter.  We’re cooked.

During this delay the coaching staff better make some changes or something

Gameplan appeared to be run the ball and not ask Bryce to do much except make same basic throws.   Not sure what changes you can really make to that.

    • The thing with cleaning house… who the hell wants to actually work for Tepper?! What good coach with options would take that gig? There are literally 31  better teams to work for…. This is the WORST place for a coach to work… and it’s not even close. Auto-firing staff after 1-2 years will only make things worse.  If candidates know they are going to be auto-fired when being dumped in to an impossible situation, then why even apply? Tepp has to show candidates that he’s calmed the f down. The best thing is for him to not make any major franchise decisions for a while.  Just imagine where we would be right now with Wilks, Darnold, Foreman, Luvu, Moore,  the king’s ransom they were offered for Burns and the picks they traded away for Young… tell me with a straight face that blowing all of that up was the right move compared to where we are today. Wilks and Darnold were bridges to a better place.  My point being, EVERY major franchise decision from Tepp has been a disaster. He blows everything up, even if it shows signs of potential. He has refused to hire a ‘my way or no way’ type coach with proven NFL success.  I promise you he doesn’t have a friend in the entire building.  besides changing out Evero who has been given years to make it work, this is the best case scenario for the foreseeable future until the next draft. I don’t think Canales is the right coach for the job, but tying him to Young isn’t fair. He deserves at least another season with his own guy that he chooses.
    • Yeah, he did. But what absolutely killed any chance of success is that our QB panicked and sailed the ball through the endzone uncatchable. That's why the focus is on that. Why do we need to do all these mental gymnastics to keep trying to come up with excuses to cover for the worst starting QB in the NFL over the past three years? What else do we kneed to see from him to admit he ain't ir? You don't trade up to #1 overall to draft a QB that needs everything to go perfectly to succeed. You're doing that because you think you're drafting a guy who can carry an offense.
    • He needed another year as DC to get the team a draft pick. Had they let him walk before this season the Panthers get nothing. The irony is that they will get nothing anyway as no team will hire him as a HC. I'm not sure he could get another DC job at this point.
