Jared Feinberg's Panthers v Jaguars film review

Recommended Posts

The "Cali Connection" is strong

Trevin Wallace's bad day

Bryce Young's not-so-great day

D.J. Wonnum among some standout defensive players

  • Center Austin Corbett had a bad game. The starting veteran center had multiple errant snaps that disrupted the timing and rhythm of the offense.
  • Legette is taking a good brunt of the loss after a subpar performance. He botched on the fundamentals, failing to get his feet in bounds on a few empty catches and coming up rather sluggish in blocking.
  • Safety Nick Scott was inconsistent in his tackling and communication. Rookie Lathan Ransom had just nine snaps defensively.
  • Cornerback Chau Smith-Wade looked solid at the nickel, showcasing reliability in pass coverage. He had a fine repetition on a third-down incompletion to Thomas Jr.
  • Head coach Dave Canales had a rough day calling plays. Some of his choices in certain areas were underwhelming, and put the offense in compromising spots during key situational moments. The Jaguars seemed to have tells on what Canales was going to call and planned accordingly.

DC has a chance to make a point. Bench XL and start someone else, start Ransom at S, Mays at C etc. That sends the string signal that last week was unacceptable. He won’t, but that is the right move.

Definitely a better, more in-depth analysis than PFF put out but came to the same/similar conclusion

-Mostly Dave Canales and WRs (Specifically Legette) fault; Not Bryce

-Trevin Wallace sucks big-time

For who? I’m all for it but there’s no depth. Jewel retiring screwed us

Brother, I think a street FA can play better, not even joking. Im not at the "CUT his ARSE" level, just sit him and hope that awakes him. He was used and abused by jags, no question he was targeted. Use a PS call up and start Barnes. I know how this sounds and I thought Wallace would be "decent". He's lost, awful gaps, and manipulated like a child who wants candy...

To say it was ‘not Bryce’ lacks all credibility. He is making the same mistakes he has made for 3 years

All QBs make mistakes every game. 10 year vets do, can’t expect Bryce not to. Team has to be better around him. Can’t keep asking him to figure it out without the team around him. I challenge you to find a QB in today’s NFL that performs while not surrounded by talent. We had one legitimate NFL pass catcher on the field on Sunday and he just got here.

Bills might be the best team in the NFL…..and skill position talent around Josh Allen is mid.  Mahomes has mid skill talent.  By year 3, great QBs start making things happen regardless of what is around them.  They start making players.

it’s the never ending being Bryce excuse.  It’s an all star staff, it’s best spot for QB rookie,  a roster that rivals 2003…..then it’s all them.  It’s not Bryce.  Ignore the best offensive day of the entire season was a washed Andy Dalton.

all offseason people were overjoyed with the WRs.  Our greatest strength….now they are bums.  Bryce has no talent.

Good QBs make the deep pass to TMac, they make the pass to Renfrow, they don’t chunk the 4th down ball to the stands, they see the S run from his assignment to jump a different route and that INT doesn’t happen……it’s Bryce first and foremost.  QBs are supposed to make people better.  The argument is always they need to make Bryce better.
